We added the train you requested to our To-Do list for v0.8.1, thanks for your request and especially for your extensive explanation. It's great to have someone tell us a bit about the trains they request, it appears you have pretty specific reasons to ask for that very train. Or is it just a favorite of yours? ^.^

Once again, thank you for your amazing feedback, you brightened our day!

    Greetings!

Hi, thank you for considering my suggestion for your mod, it is very kind of you.
E-269 and Serie 10000 of Terrasur Temuco are a very favorite train of mine. I'm Chilean, so the train is from where I live. Is one of the last long distance trains EFE has, composed by locomotive and cars, as they are turning into railcars for passenger traffic. Since the mod has a Japanese inspiration, I think you would like to search for some info and know about the AEZ and AEL series, built by Nissho Iwai, Kawasaki Heavy Industries and other Japanese companies about '70s for EFE.

    Greetings!

Hi Spirit_Tracks, i would like to thank you for this awesome mod, the fact that your mod have curved tracks compatible with vainilla and Railcraft makes this mod a pioneer in the Minecraft trains community. I believe this mod has enormous potential, so I wish you the best with it.

Two things: I would like to ask you if you thought of using AlexIIL's ideas for tracks (https://github.com/AlexIIL/TrainCraft-1.8.9) . If I understood correctly his idea, the end result would be freeform curved tracks, or, at least, smooth connections. I don't know what his license terms or intentions are, though. I know Cream-Tea is doing some investigations, but I have no idea about the state of his work, so I think some form of collaboration would be awesome.

Second, I would like to suggest a Spanish locomotive and coach:

    E-269 locomotive and coaches

This is the E-269 electric locomotive made by RENFE and used by Chilean company Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado (EFE) in the Terrasur Temuco long distance service together with the RENFE Serie 10000 coaches. I would like to see this train added to the mod. Thank you.

This is my opinion about the mod, and I think many of us feel the same but few have really said it:

I don't like the course this mod is taking. It is like an "indefinite hiatus". If the author really cared about his community, the players that use his mod, he would have done something in all these months. Something concrete. But no, he comes back, answers everyone in a condescending way, like "I am right, you all are wrong and you should feel ashamed for that." like he's untouchable. No open source, revival/cloning efforts, a temporary unofficial port? No, no, NO. Nothing. He prefers to watch the mod die, or kill it himself, because he apparently thinks no one knows to program as good as him and surely the community is going to produce mediocre clones, as we couldn't know when the mod is a unofficial port/clone and a official version. Do we need to hope he gets fired soon? All he does is complain and make us pray to him to get the mod updated. It sounds to me like the kid who plays soccer and interrupts the game leaving with the ball because he's losing and is annoyed. He doesn't want that the community make clones of his mod because (in his words) "I'm gone for more than one day (apparently)". I don't know that his concept of time is, but it has passed more than a year without any results.

I'm still wondering why Spitfire446 went away, and I think he did that because of differences with MrBrutall more than real life issues. It reminds me to Flowerchild and his Forge-incompatible (on purpose!) mod, just because he hated (hates?) Forge, another angry soccer ball owner. It is good to know that nice modders are majority.

If Railcraft some day implements smooth track curves and train models like this dead mod, then there will be no reason to care for this mod.

Important note: BTW I didn't want to be rude, but reading his answer again and again makes me feel no sympathy for someone who behaves like that. I would understand that he's busy and that, but his (lack of) answers and attitude are not, at least, polite with the community that supports him and his mod. Turn down your ego and think about the people who likes your mod and is willing to help and play it again.

Dude, if you are not open to criticism, don't ever bother posting. Less when your post says NOTHING.
