Considering that taint literally takes over your world and attacks you, forcing you to try to be enviormentaly friendly, it kinda incentivises you to be a Druid.
Besides Taint kinda is nature (an evil twisted nature that tries to eat you).
I still fail to see a Thaumaturge as a druid. They manipulate the laws of nature to their benefit, much like what we do in real life. We're outputing a lot of greenhouse gasses with our vehicles, and now we're being a lot more environmentally friendly then we have been in the past. So are we all druids now because we're aware of the pollution we're making and being more environmentally friendly now? Thaumaturgy feels more like science, but in a world with different laws of nature then our own.

While it's true BTW does focus a bit on mechanical power and 'industry', the way I see it is this.
In vanilla minecraft, people make all sorts of farms by using or abusing various functions and bugs of the game(one good example would be the nether-roof gold farms). A lot of these(like iron farms) could be seen as exploits, or abusing the functions of the game(like making endermen farms in the end by removing all spawnable areas except the in the farm)
BTW simply turns these into a feature of the game rather then 'exploits' and gives you a 'simpler' way of doing it.

You don't need to place rails underwater though. You just need the rails to go to the water, then ride the ship off the rails, into the water.
Though, picking up whatever you used to tow the ship to sea might be annoying.

Seriously, it's like she's had very serious issues and has a imaginary mom to keep her sane or something.
Would it be possible for a kid to say different things depending on if they are adopted or if the mom dies or something like that?

I'm just confused on how the mod can be steampunk, when as far as I know, the only thing in the mod that uses steam in any way is the steam engine, which just burns fuel and speeds up ships.
Unless I'm missing something, a helm and the ability to make airships does not equal steampunk.
I was under the impression that Archimedes' ships was simply a ship & airship mod.

I don't know anything about coding, so I'm just guessing here, but I think changing the name of the version file, zip-thingy, and json(?) file thing will prevent the 'redownload on startup' thing.

But still, very cool.

Yes, if fact, if I recall correctly, helicopters are one of the vehicles with the highest player carry capacity.
In fact, I'm pretty sure there is one in the modern weapons pack that can carry 21 players(driver included) at once.
Also pretty sure there is a helicopter that can carry 3 people(one in the cockpit. one on the nose gun, one passenger)

And I'm pretty sure there was talk about making clay soldiers more useful for survival, but kinda got put off while updating everything and such.
Just wondering, but can't you make clay soldiers have like 1 heart of health and deal damage less then 1 heart instead of giving them 10 hearts of health but having them die instantly when hit by a player?

If you had a baby daughter, would you shove her in a chest and go fish? It also tells you it's a bad idea to throw your kid on the ground. Common sense, really. Though, I do wish there was a crib block of sort to put our kids in..
And for the kids running away, I never had that problem, but try checking the kids relationship with you. Most likely, you're mistreating them and they get fed up with it and run away. (Children have been known to run away from parents at mistreatment/being a teenager). Try being nicer to them, like giving them cookies every now and then, and interacting with them.

On a side note, anyone know how to effectively use the thumper(I think? that hammer/piston thing that breaks blocks under it. Can’t really recall what it’s called at the moment)?
Running around in the trench it excavates collecting the items is dumb and really annoying, and the amount of items cause lots of lag. Of course, I can put some droppers every few layers to collect the drops, but if I put them close enough to gather the items before getting too much lag, I might as well just branch mine or something and get more ore for less trouble.
So, anyone know how to use those things effectively?
Personally, I think they would be a lot more useful if they broke blocks from bedrock up rather then in a ever-so-enlargening trench a few blocks below themselves
