That makes a lot more sense to me funky3000. The Blaze rods as sticks could make weapons and tools have a small flame effect so that you can mine slightly faster and cause more damage to mobs, and to equalize the effect they could add a new achievement for damage in one hit or using blaze rods differently, they would have to think of what to say at the moment because I'm not really sure.
Sorry if this post is a little late and may be counted as trying to bump up this thread but I have other things to do in my life and on the internet at the moment so can't really pay that much attention to this.
