Since when has their been any soldering in building a computer with a CPU, motherboard, RAM, hard drive, power supply, and graphics card? There is NONE! Assembling a computer is an easy process, think of it as an adult version of LEGO's. You don't need a super nice mouse, keyboard, or monitor. That should only be about $100 for all three. There are free anti-virus programs and you can use open office instead of Microsoft Office. That leaves you with about $400 for the parts.

If you have access to a micro center near you you can buy an open box ( but still working ) monitor for the open box price plus an additional 25% off from now till later in the month. I'm not sure when the sale ends though. ( Most products have a 30 day return policy, just check that it does before you buy ).

Can you find me a complete build? I really have no idea what i need

If you're looking to just have a gaming PC without all of the hassle of building, ordering, soldering, and assembling, you can get a fairly good used custom gaming PC on your local Craigslist.

If you want to take on the challenge of building, heres a suitable video to fit your needs. This guy is pretty decent at building PC'S, I built my custom 3,000$ PC using his tutorials. I reccomend him over other people.

Unfortunately anything below your $500 price range is a little shady, and less functional, as you need to spend about half of the budget on peripherals. Of course you need to understand purchasing a OS such as Windows 7 will set you back about $100 to 200$, a good virus program, $20, and ecetera. A used HD monitor is around another $100-200, and a good gaming keyboard/mouse combo about in the $200 range.

Here is the link to a $350 build, and I will include links to the other accessories you need along with it.

    Peripherals:

    [Keyboards]

Now here are some links to the other nessessities. If you are willing to splurge a little, the best top of the line, gaming keyboard you can get is either a Razer Deathstalker Ultimate, either or a Logitech G-19. I use a G-19 so I'd reccomend that. (Both with LCD applet & statistic screens!) If you can't afford a good keyboard, You can just purchase a decent Razer Arctosa for around 50$.

    Razer Deathstalker:

    Logitech G-19:

    Razer Arctosa: (Budget)

    [Mice]

A good gaming mouse is around 50$ up to 200$. For your use, I would just get a normal logitech mouse, but again if you're willing to splurge here are some options for you:

    Logitech G300: (Budget)

Logitech G700S: (Top of the Line)

    Razer Naga:

    [Monitors]

Now we move on to the catergory of monitors. If an HD monitor does not fit into your budget, perhaps you can just hook up to an existing HDTV or TV. If you want A seperate monitor that is VERY cheap, you can get an old Standard Def DELL monitor if you have to stoop that low. Now, to move on to the good stuff. The best normal class HD gaming monitor you can get is a Samsung S27B350H. I
highly reccomend this monitor. I own 3 for my multi-screen PC, and they have never failed me. For what it is, it is quite affordable.

    Samsung S27B350H:

    Asus VH238H:
    http://www.ebay.com/...=item43bd4733a0

Standard Def Dell Monitor: (LAST RESORT)
    http://www.ebay.com/...=item27d48098d3

    [Programs]

Last, but not least, Programs. I reccomend a copy of Windows 7, or Windows Vista. (Please don't even think about purchasing Windows 8, biggest mistake of your life.

    Windows Programs:

    Microsoft Office:
    http://www.ebay.com/...=item20cefd5d52

    Norton AntiVirus:

And all that will set you back $500 to $600. Good luck with your build. :D

Thanks for this info, though im not really looking for a gaming desktop, i just want something that can run Minecraft fairly well, nothing crazy. I dont intend to play any game on it other than minecraft.

I want to build a computer to play Minecraft with, but I don't know what sort of parts I need. If the build could maintain 30-40 fps while playing, that would be great. Budget-wise, I'd like to stay between 300-500 dollars if possible. I need a complete build, including a monitor and keyboard. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm surprised that people actually play the pocket edition, I've tried it and it seems too incomplete for anyone to be interested in playing it.

As cool as this all is, I find it kind of silly that they can add all this, but won't add furniture.

Well, the community has the right to voice their opinion on what should be added to MC. And contrary to what you believe, I'm quite sure that the staff is open to suggestions from us if enough people really want it.

I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you, chances everything that is added to the game will go according to the PC updates. In other words, we'll have to wait until every update before 1.3 is released before we see any of that.
