posted a message on Worldmaker 2.0 - Map generator to make Planetoids, Vastwood, Mystical Islands and more!

@SellswordMike, I alreade 'fixed' my map with another workaround, which doesn't result in 2 maps being generated with different seeds, but that was not my point. I am thinking that maybe more people would like to use this option, so if Seibai would consider this that would be great. If not, also fine ofcourse, as it is and will always be his decision what he adds and what he doesn't. Thank you for your tip though!

    Quote from AlfieSR»
Does anyone know how to disable WAILA only for entities? Between a combination of Infernal Mobs having their own boss bar displays and the hit indicators mod displaying x/y health values already, it feels redundant and gets in the way a lot but I don't want to disable the block view.

Your not the first one that asks for that! I am still waiting for an option like that. Putting mobs on sneak toggle is NOT a solution, as some people have suggested, because then it still gets in the way with the mob name and saying "press shift for more info"....

posted a message on OptiFine HD (FPS Boost, Dynamic Lights, Shaders and much more)
I am using OptiFine 1.7.10_HD_U_A4 and it seems to give a BIG problem with any forge version higher then 1230 and mod textures disappearing and creating some kind of x-ray glitch, rendering most mod blocks practically unusable. Untill now the best solution was just to stick to forge 1230 as it doesn't seem to do that except for 1 or 2 blocks, but now other mods start updating and (like treecapitator) demand a higher version of forge.

So I would really be happy if there would be a fixed version from optifine for 1.7.10 that does work with those forge versions, so I can keep my modlist up to date! I don't want to stop using optifine (both for the effects, effectivity and ofcourse the awesome OF cape!) so I really hope this can be fixed!! :Diamond:

posted a message on Carpenter's Blocks
    Quote from Mineshopper»
This is usually a bug caused by other mods. I'd first start by running Forge + Carpenter's Blocks alone, then add on from there until something weird happens. It's best to rule out Optifine and MCPatcher first.

It seems that optifine causes the most of the missing textures indeed, but without optifine still one of the textures is missing. I'll post it there first though. The thing is I already had optifine when it worked fine, and I didn't upgrade optifine yesterday. I did however upgrade forge, so maybe that has some influence too?

posted a message on Looking for a new survival server to call home
Thank you for your posts. I get offerings on here (and my old topic a couple of months ago) of servers that do allow for griefing but will make an exception for groups or individuals. That might work for some people, but it's not really my thing. I'd like to play on a world where griefing / pvp / raiding just isn't allowed (except for maybe special battle domes for someone who likes the challenge). I want to be in a community where the thing is playing with instead of against each other. And griefing just makes worlds look ugly, whether its my place that has been griefed or just the random world around me. So with this post I'm upping the topic in hopes of getting more responses! Thank you for reading this, and I hope I'll find a nice place!

iLexiconn can you also upload a version for 1.7.10 (and Forge 10.13.0.1205)? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be very happy with that!

posted a message on ChickenBones Mods
I have recently updated minecraft to 1.7.2 and found a compatibility issue with CodeChickenCore v1.0.0 and treecapitator. Whenever I run just one of them (with or without an array of some other mods I'd like to use) it works fine, but as soon as I put both in the mods folder minecraft crashes. I will post the crash report here in hopes that someone can help me fix this issue, so I can use both mods!

The issue is with these two files: CodeChickenCore v1.0.0 & TreeCapitator v2.0.3, if I run minecraft with only the core mods of both authors it works fine, adding NEI also works fine, but as soon as the Treecapitator file is added it crashes.

posted a message on DaftPVF's Mods (Treecapitator, CrystalWing, StartingInv, FloatingRuins)
I did some further testing and found that this version of tree capitator clashes with CodeChickenCore_v1.0.0 needed for Not Enough Items. All other mods in my basic configuration seem to work fine. I will post the crash log of the test run with only treecapitator and codechickencore here.

The issue is with these two files: CodeChickenCore v1.0.0 & TreeCapitator v2.0.3, if I run minecraft with only the core mods of both authors it works fine, adding NEI also works fine, but as soon as the Treecapitator file is added it crashes.

Edit: Someone pointed out that I seemed to have two versions of bspkrsCore, both .9 and .11. However I only dropped .11 in the mods folder. Oddly when I have both CodeChickenCore v1.0.0 & TreeCapitator v2.0.3 in my mods folder, the .9 version is created in the mods/1.7.2/ folder. When I have only one of these two files, this does not happen. Removing it doesnt make a difference, with both these files it is just created again after which minecraft crashes.

One feature I've been missing in this mod for a while that I do wish would come back from before the rewrite is the /goto or /warp commands. I did like setting waypoints in my world and being able to just warp to them with the /goto command,

Check 'help' in game and look at the commands starting with 'wp', and you'll find what you're looking for! The only old waypoint command I'm still missing badly is 'return', that was very usefull!

I think that's a good idea, thank you for the tip. I think it's best to leave the mod-specific discussion in the individual posts, and move description/screenshots/videos to the main topic. (then I can also change installation instructions easily)

Sure, and you can change the topmost bit in your mod-specific topics to something like "check out my other mods like this and that and that" without links, and not having to change all the topics. It isn't my idea though, Seibai did it for the mapgenerators he made, and put it in his signature so all his posts link to it! http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/83979-new-map-generator-planetoids-v175-now-up/
