I'm in a town with 30 of my friends on the Herocraft server, and I'm the lead architect of a pirate themed town. I need to build a main centerpiece for the town but I'm not sure what to build for it. We've already got a ship in the ocean which is our apartment area where people can safely store their stuff, but then we need a main centerpiece to be cosmetic and/or contain apartments for veteran / high donating members. Any ideas? I was thinking a pub or inn, but those aren't necessarily large enough and they're not really pirate themed (asides from the pub.). Does anybody have any creative ideas for what I can create? Thanks in advance.

Depends on the texture pack. My building style totally changes depending on my texture pack. In default however, I use spruce wood a lot because it's dark and matches with a lot of other blocks, unlike Oak wood which looks like a log, which realistically isn't added to builds lol.

I'm good at PvP and building which doesn't work out for someone like me seeing as 99% of PvP servers allow grief so I can't do both at once.

I tend to go overboard with these. To keep it simple, a bunch of new animals, a lot of new foods, new worlds with new bosses, flying mounts / dragons in the main world that aren't hostile until you attack them.

It's just a username. If you're a decent guy that's fun to be around why does it matter what your username is?

So a creative server with famous (mostly) Minecrafters?

At the moment we're all seeing the same types of servers, but if you could make your own dream server, what would you have in it?

For me, generally the type of server I want is a PvP raiding server with no grief (only minor), and all bases must be raidable in a way. Perhaps the server will allow TNT cannons but you can only break a hole into the base, and not completely destroy it.. This allows people to build nice bases rather than obsidian squares all around the server. (Does anyone know a server like this, btw?)
I'd go into more detail, but nobody would bother with reading it since it would be 2000+ words.
