As we all know, my fort has been progressing well.
I am here to announce the currency system completed.
It runs on a 'points' system which I keep counted to myself.
Here are ways to gain points:
dig out a chunk of sand(1-2 points depending on height of chunk)
recruit people(you get half their points. so say they did 8 1 point chunks, they'd get 8 points and you'd get 4)
dig out mossy cobble(completed)
In the end, you can save points to buy other things later when I open my shop. (WIP, well not really in progress until my fort is done with)
Or, you can trade them in after the completion of each sector of the fort. The fort will have 2 sectors. Rural and urban.
urban completion : 45%
rural completion : 5%
So one point will either be 1-2 dia (undecided) and 1-4 iron (undecided) or you can turn the diamonds into iron which would be 8-12 iron per points, or change iron into diamond which would be 2-3 diamonds

First time I made a post on this thread in 11 months. Decided to bump the thread and remind people this server is awesome.
As for culen and brunken's recent behavior, just wanted to make some comments. 1) A little fear in this current time of peace an't too bad, as long as another group of merc's DO NOT overrun the server again. 2) I believe culen and brunken are the same person. 3) They probaby the kind of people who x-ray or somehow cheat and get away with it. 4) Acting like a terrorist in this server is disgusting. No one wants you guys on the server. 5) How did you get the diamonds so soon?

OK, so after I died (betrayed by the "noob killer" culen) I tried the parkour. After about 10 minutes I beat it and in my haste I jumped straight down and into the vip spawn:
Sadly I found the vip spawn was worse! There was no parkour and all you could do is sit there and listen to music with /jukebox!
Is there anyway to get out? I mean the blocks are breakable and you could glitch out and the server doesn't have any rules about block glitching in the original post... but it feels wrong to "cheat"... I just want to parkour again while I wait

2. Why do you want to join this server?
I wish for a better challenge in minecraft survival and this server practically made me have a nerdgasm when I read the opening lines. I love different styles of minecraft and I love to be challenged and able to excecute my skills. I have always played and loved both PvP and PvE in many forms of the game and this server seems to have a lot of the right ideas to making a great combination of both.
3. How long do you think you will survive on your first night?
I play a very agressive style of play and I think I would try to not waste any time during the day and get myself a lot of resources. I will then venture the land, keeping moving at all times, targeting spiders and skeletons for a bow and arrows. In a desperate situation, I will try to run and pick the gaps in between swarms of mobs.
4. What do you think will be the cause of your first death on this server?
I think my first death will be like all my deaths. I never die by clumsiness, I never die in situations I should get out of (because if I should, I will get out), but I do die by overconfidence. I will most likely die by putting myself in a situation where I cannot possibly win no matter how skilled I am, nor escape alive because of my haste in jumping into a 3 by 3 hole filled with zombies. I may do the same with pvp and jump straight into a 3v1 confidentally, thinking I can win and not giving up, I will usually die, but I will often take down one of the three.

His name is culen320. Anyways, as a more experienced player, I still despise noob killers. That is why I'm posting this. I am creating what I call a "noob-killing defense system" basically, if you see culen and i am on, shout out the coords. Try your best to run, and i'm sure some experienced player or me if i'm not busy will be on their way to you to help. If you do die, we will still try to avenge you. This applies to any noob-killer, just culen is the one doing the most killing at the moment.

2. the darkness effect
Well, I went into the big cave, used all my jack-o-lanterns up (2 stacks) and still had left 60% of the cave unexplored. I decided I could go on without it, oh boy was I ever wrong (well I did go on and live to tell the tale, but the tale would probably scare me forever if it were in real life, but as a player it was simply an amazing experience.

As you see in the photo, there was 7 cave spiders and 6 pig zombies alone in the span of 10 seconds. Oh wonderful.

How to get to iron stage. Hello, my name is obviously, Aidandaapple (aidan) and I decided to make a step-by-step tutorial on how to get to "iron age"
1. Once you spawn in, you will be in a bedrock box. this box is used for multiple things such as -keeping the bannedb -beating the parkour (which when you're deathbanned will take off time of you deathban) -possible dungeon creation in the future!!!!
To get out of the "box of bans" you must type /begin.
Well, congrats, you're already done your first step!
2. Once you get into the Desert of Despair, also known as "desert or DoD" you must know a few things before going in -kill all mobs you see, make sure you kill them strategically (one block above them or between you and hit them so they cant hit you. -if you get swarmed by mobs, run! -if you see someone in iron don't yell "WHO'S IN IRON" cause then they will come and kill you. i'd suggest running or if they seem nice approach cautiously. -Do not go in ANY structures at the moment, but you may look at the top of volcano for iron, but i'd think it is a waste of time -Mark the coordinates of any stone -collect any scattered wood planks. 3. With that information, you must find an oasis. An oasis is a small piece of land that contains things such as trees, dirt, water, these are all scarce in DoD. -once you find an oasis, collect the first trees until you can make a wooden pick with your wood. once the forging of your wooden pick is complete, go out to the stone coordinates (or if you dont have any, find some) and mine it -once you get around 15 stone (recommended amount is 12) make the following items stone axe stone pickaxe stone sword the rest of the stone is extra in case one breaks. -once completed, go back to your oasis, chop some trees MAKE SURE TO REPLANT AFTER -camp around your oasis, possibly creating a small shelter, for a few days until you have (recommended amount) 3 stacks of wooden planks. CONGRATS YOU ARE MORE SUCCESSFUL THEN HALF THE PEOPLE ON THIS SERVER ALREADY 3. Now that you are finished stone age, lets get to iron! -search the tops of volcanos, look down, if iron, mine your way down and mine it. -continue to mine every stone and chop every tree you see -once you get 3 iron, craft a furnace and cook it with wood, or coal if you have it. -ONLY use iron pick for iron ore, use stone pick for everything else -once you get another 3 bucket, i suggest creating a stone gen. I will link you to a video explaining how to create one: (skip to 1:29) or if you have a lot of iron and little time create a cobble stone tutorial, which is same link but beginning of the video (you can do it without the piston 4. continue, once you get half iron go in sand dungeons, make sure to have a stable source of food (fishing, or wheat/melons) and make sure to play smart i suggest that if you find diamond early, trade it off for iron/food/cobble. -if you find an iron vein, mine it obviously -skip out on redstone/lapiz till you have a good supply of iron GOOD LUCK
