I'm surprised that there isn't a separate wiki/database of advanced scripts that were already written by previous people with descriptions of what the script does. (Just copy & Past)

For Example:

Creator: Agt_Montag

Description: Welcome script - Automatically welcomes new players to a server

Script: [email protected]((Welcome [Newperson name])) [email protected] (Made up script, of course)

Notes: Make sure you add the dubba wubba to the floopti flap or the welcome will come out like a bag of soggy potatoes

The latest version works fine for me on 1.15.2 and I grabbed it from there too.

I have not checked the comments for any problems but you could post a report on the comments section there with your specific query?

As a server owner I would say if they do not allow it on their server don't do it!
We put a lot of time and effort to get the world and mods the exact way we want!

Imagine you spent three weeks building and painting a model and you decide to display it for people to see.
When you turn around and find someone painting over it in rainbow colors.
Now imagine instead of it only taking you three weeks to build and paint it took you several years!
Yeah, that's about how it feels! So please be considerate of other peoples work!

If you really want to use x-ray as a cheat, find another server that allows it.
Or, run your own server. Mojang makes it pretty simple to play Minecraft anyway and with any rules you want!

For example

[Press K] /gamemode 2 [Player]

[Press K] /gamemode 3 [player]

and back-n-forth

Let's put it this way
If the gamemode is 2, switch it to 3
If the gamemode is 3, switch it to 2

Alternatively.., you can use IIF(condition,msg1,msg2) which is a short version of IF;ECHO;ELSE;ECHO;ENDIF

that would look like this

$${IIF(MODE=2,"/gamemode 3","/gamemode 2")}$$

More alternatively, since it's only a single condition, you can also use a conditional macro

In the binding screen look near the top for the three types of bindings, pick conditional

put MODE = 2 as the condition, in the true field you can write either $${Echo("/gamemode 3")}$$ or just /gamemode 3

do the same for gamemode 2 in the if false field
