posted a message on Singleplayer is Destroyed
The lighting issues are really starting to **** me off, Jeb and Nathan have thus far neglected the bug, and have shown no signs of even acknowledging it exists.

But whoop de do, ("guess what? It's a hardware problem, not a update problem, your computer just sucks!") or ("It will be fixed in the next snapshot anyway!") This is how the minecraft community responds to everything wrong with their precious game, I have seen these two arguments time and time again on the forums, in relation to the lighting bug.

I don't like to brag about my PC specs, but lets just say I can more than handle any game at max settings. Secondly, every thread that acknowledges a bug gets shot down, with the OP getting belittled. The snapshots are here for testing and reporting bugs, not pretending they don't exist.

Further more, almost every week for the last 5 or 6 weeks (who is keeping track?) I've seen someone say "they will fix X bug in the next snapshot, stop crying". Clearly Mojang isn't going to fix these bugs if everyone keeps quiet about it.

I don't have the issue. I haven't had block lag or mob glitching in any of the recent snapshots.

Oh it's there, and it's certainly not a hardware issue.

The problem isn't immediately apparent, but the little delays and desynchronization issues really get annoying. Especially in combat situations.

Everyone is experiencing this issue. It has nothing to do with specs, and everything to do with the snapshot.

    Lighting glitches, lighting glitches everywhere.

It practically ensures every chunk looks like ****, I'm surprised more people haven't pointed this out.

That's impossible. Every real game has glitches no matter what.

You can't deny that running off of a server causes a RIDICULOUS amount of bugs. As it stands single player isn't even playable (obviously), but even if the major issues are sorted out we would still have to deal all of the synchronization issues.

The Server-to-Client architecture needs to be completely reworked and optimized.

In case anyone disagrees with me, please ride in a boat in singleplayer.

Whether or not these issues will be fixed remains to be seen, as we have heard nothing.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would want it implemented the way it is now, it needs to be drasicly optimised so we don't have to deal with all of the desync issues.

posted a message on Villagers can breed in the next snapshot!
NPC villagers reproduce asexually, their "noses" aren't noses at all, but rather buds which will develop into their offspring.

This explains why their "noses" are grossly misshapen and why they are all identical in appearance.

Isn't it about time they added the Giant to Vanilla? I mean, come on, make it even a 1/100 chance of spawning if you wish, I just want to roam the land of Minecraft and encounter a giant.

You can't say it doesn't fit the theme either cause it is just a big zombie.

The gameplay mechanics involved with the giant are terrible, they would need a complete rework.
