Truth is the capacitor packs follow a similar line to the batpack/lappacks, could this perhaps be a hint at something along the lines of Flux Mesh armor and potentially higher tiers of reinforced armors?

This is a VERY good idea. I've been wanting a gravisuite replacement since IC2 is getting needlessly tedious (not to mention the instability)... If you could somehow make teirs that double as armor, that would be amazing, maybe even include a flux capacitor in the recipe so it auto-recharges any flux-tools that you have in your hotbar :)

Maybe have a whole different teir system for the armor+jetpack+flux capacitor. I miss being able to fly, jump, and run at super speeds :(

I don't care how expensive you make the recipes, I just want to be able to have something to work toward that directly increases my mobility. Modular power suites is also too fiddly and acts un-intuitively while flying.

posted a message on Sphax BDCraft Texture Patch for Meat Plus Mod
Please remove the adfly link, it is NOT permitted by Sphax, the creator of the base pack. I have already addressed this here: http://bdcraft.net/f...sphax-mod-patch

If you do not take it down, I will have to notify Sphax so he can take the appropriate action.

    Thanks.

posted a message on Little Blocks Mod [2.2.2.1] Creation contest! [770KDLs]
I have to agree with erik19borgnia here. Assuming that 1.5 is going to be as monumental (graphically) as it's hyped is quite an assumption, given minecraft's development track record... Thankfully we have our trust in a much better development team, since notch was side-lined, but still... Optifine adds a lot of granularity to video performance, which I don't think will be nearly as efficient in 1.5, given that Optifine is much more mature in its development. To be honest, I think Optifine will get even better when the vanilla lighting code has been optimized.

When using as many mods as I do 70+, multi-core/smooth chunk loading is a must. I would like to urge you to continue support, but in the end it's up to you. Unless one of minecraft's major releases (1.5, 1.6, 1.7, etc..) focuses solely on video performance optimization, it will never be on the level of Optifine.

    Just my thoughts. :)

posted a message on Changing your username- It should be available soon!
Instead of a username change, we should be allowed a "nick" name which would appear on the server. This way, when a user gets banned, the server will use the account name which the nickname is bound to through a simple "whois" method call. This would make the most sense. No company in their right mind, who runs a multiplayer game, would ever let you actually change your account name. This is the whole point of nick names.
