I don't know about lucid dreams, but sometimes when I drift off to sleep I feel as if I am floating above my body. I can't really explain it, it's like I'm not in my body but I am at the same time. Every time this happens I feel intense fright and have to force myself to wake up. The weirdest thing is, I know it's not real but the fear and the urge to 'return to my body' is overpowering.

In all honesty, you can't really judge the strength and power of characters from different game universes, since in Halo, Master Chief seems to hold a high luck value, and therefore, this is why he survives for so long. If you read the original books, you'll know that Spartans were chosen by the flip of a coin, and therefore selected by luck.
Are space marines lucky, too, or are they just super powerful? Also, how can you compare their physical strengths? How do you know, for certain, that one is more powerful than the other?
I find the ordeal kind of unbalanced, and I'm also pretty sure that the fans for each respective series will be vouching for their respective characters.
It's not about luck, Space Marines have superior tech, training and physiology. Sure, Master Chief would put up a good fight, but in the long run, he just wouldn't last. One false move and -boom- he's done. Space Marines can fight for daysnonstop and not even get tired.
Active Camo+Energy Sword. Sneak up behind them and stab over and over.
This has already been stated, Space Marines have advanced senses and could easily detect a Spartan with active camo.
Even if a Spartan did manage to stab a Space Marine, the wound would heal in seconds due to their advanced physiology.
So... they basically sound like battle droids. They just shoot a ton of shots and hope they luck out.
Sorta, yeah. The front line troops are basically commiting suicide the moment they step into battle. The Warhammer 40k universe is a harsh one, but to die for the Emperor is the greatest gift a man can have.
It's just with vaporizing it's more overpowered. Punching through implies that it's actually more blunt and leaves lots of rubble. Vaporizing it just leaves... slightly charred edges I guess.
True, vaporizing is more precise. Imperial Guard don't need to be precise. They simply fire away into the vast armies of the enemy until they die. Most won't live past their first battle.
I know it's official name is the Xbox One. And you need to pay for PS+ for PS4 multiplayer? Sorry then. I didn't watch the entire PS4 reveal. But either way it is still 40 dollars per year cheaper. I just assumed that because the PS3 let you play multiplayer without PS+ ( as far as I know anyway. I believe it lets you do that) that Sony would continue doing that. Seems like everything but PC is trying to take a step backwards this generation on at least one thing. And from here I will never return to this thread. Even the regular human troops (Imperial Guard), which are inferior to Space Marines, have las-guns that can punch through a foot of solid concrete with one pull of the trigger.
I'm too lazy to find the source right now but if I recall correctly you only need the PS+ to play online on USED games with the PS4. And if the forums have shown me anything then people are just going to abbreviate it as the Xbone anyway. Like how a PC is technically a Personal Computer but people just call it a PC anyway.

Xbox Gold is required to play multiplayer and even though it costs 60 dollars now Microsoft has already confirmed that Xbox One gold will be a hundred a year. And if it's much more social then don't you kind of want the multiplayer as one of the core features? But yeah. Let's stop.

I agree with your opinion so no flaming here. But I wonder what the next-next-gen Xbox will be called. They are seriously starting to use really stupid names. ATM they're basically naming it the X-bone which is just... really really stupid. Unless you read it as crossbone (Like abbreviating Crossbow to Xbow) in which case you could call it the... pirate console?

Punch through as in, leave a giant hole. Same thing as vaporizing pretty much, only more overpowered.
