    Quote from SIMJEDI

You have to keep the default minecraft folder name unchanged. In the bin directory make a folder called "Jars" open that up then make 2 different folders, one named 1.2.5 and one named 1.3.1, then COPY AND PASTE;) the .jar file for the version in to them. Setup 2 configurations for each version and point it to the jar file located in the versions folder. Also make 2 different mods_other folders per version.

ETA2: Or you could make two different .minecraft folders and put everything from each one in there then point with a configuration.

That's what I did actually - created a new .minecraft folder in a completely different part of my computer, tucked (what I hope is!) a clean .jar in there, and redirected MagicLauncher in the advanced options to point to that .jar. I think I'm doing something pretty obvious wrong, but it's not coming to me...

posted a message on Challenge - The Tree Spirit
The biggest challenge has been reading all 63 pages before posting!

The second biggest is this lovely challenge which I started almost a week ago real-time. My first real challenge, since I've only been playing MC for a few weeks now. No mods, no hacks, just figuring it out as I went along. The first few days were annoying, and I had to restart once because of bloody Creepers, but I found a lovely location with a little bay and few roaming sheep and called it home.

Any sound whenever I'm near lava. Even atmospheric random sounds give me that moment of OSHI.

Oh, and anytime I *hear* a Creeper before I *see* the Creeper.

So my newest weapon against the things that go bump in the night are wolf-packs. I wonder, if you have enough tamed wolves, will it make endermen easier to conquer?

posted a message on Strange slimeball occurrences.
So I'm new (~1 week) playing SSM, no mods, and the same thing has happened more than once. I found my first slimeballs a day before I ever saw a slime!

    Just a datapoint

With the WASD movement config, I highly recommend newbies (like myself!) to remap Q to null as soon as possible. Nothing (save sneaky creepers) is more annoying than throwing my sword away over and over again by accident...
