No. Dragons are supposed to be coming out just wait. Flying pigs is less realistic than dragons and I like things altleast somewhat realistic.

I think mobs should have more of a challenge to them now that beds are a bit overpowered. I wouldn't mind if when falling asleep like in legend of zelda where you had to fight monsters while sleeping in "dreams".

Haha. If you die in your dream then you wake up and can't go to sleep for the next day! That'd be so cool.

Thanks for the comment. I agree, I'm not the bigest fan of the slingshot. I think some people may like it though. Atleast I didn't suggest guns though. Lol. I think the detector is the best by far but I doubt that'll get added too. Then the TNT is sort of for people who aren't very accurate, I know some of the thinks have been suggested but I tried to give 'em an extra little flare. :biggrin.gif:

Okay, so this is my first ever post. Now I think I have some cool Ideas for minecraft. Being, a metal detector, a sling shot, some rocks and various arrows.

The metal detector can be made like this:

= Iron or better

The metal detector makes a high pitched noise if it's near the [Insert ore used to make the tool or worse.] It will only make the noise when you right click though, and I don't think this would have a very big durrability due to it's power. Obviously it will also play a low pitched noise if you are no where near the ore. I think that pretty much sums that up.

The rock can be made like this:

It's really not much, It gives you four rocks, and it's amunition for slingshots. It deals 1 heart per hit.

Slingshots can be madeby the following:

[] = String

It's ammunition is rocks, it shoots at a rate of 2 rock per second held down. It hurts one heart every
time fired.

Finally the arrows.
I know of two I think would be very cool.
Firstly flaming arrows. I know there is already a version of this when youshoot it through lava, but this is different.
You make regular arrows first of all. And place the arrows and flint n' steel like so:

Then, instead of taking the entire flint and steel it just dammages it as if you lit dirt.
It only ignites something if it hit a mob. The mob will then be set on fire.

The second arrow is a TNT arrow.
This one is simple. Once the arrow hits and object the TNT will blow up.
