I like them since theyre alot smaller

Agreed. It really adds a sense of creepiness to them.

Oh, could we possibly see a new sprite for the potions eventually? I was thinking you'd take the bottles from bone meal, red dye, and stuff like that but replace the "contents" of the bottles with the new potion shimmer/glow thing.

I see you've changed Creepers to Poes. As if I needed another reason to fear them. D:

I find it really funny how you used my "soft" description.

EDIT: I was wondering, what is the block with the Deku Shrub texture?

You are correct! Also, I'm thinking I should change the wheat texture from pumpkins, since pumpkins can be grown and stuff. Anyone agree?

Maybe it could be changed to a (slight) recolor of sugarcane? Here's what I think you should do:

    1) Make a recolor of sugarcane so it looks golden brown/faded gold.
    2) Shrink them.
    3) Tie them together with a small red band. So it'd look like small bundle of wheat. Get it?

By "soft" weapons set, do you mean the less detailed, more simplistic tools/swords?

Also, great work with the pack! Its good to use it again! :biggrin.gif:

Great job, man. But unfortunately, I have a few gripes with it (how negative of me D:)

I preferred the old tools from the previous release (the pack where the Diamond sword was the double helix blade.) I preferred the simplicity of them over the highly detailed ones included in this release- although I do like how you reverted the sprites for gold and iron ingots back into... ingots. =P

Other than my negativity (once again, I apologize), great pack. I can continue using the textures I've used in all of my time in Minecraft. :biggrin.gif:

(But is the brewing stand really supposed to look like the frames of a portal to The End?)

Actually most people seem to really enjoy the breeding system in place as of 1.9 pre release 4.

To OP. I suggest you start with chickens. Go into the nether, walk forever, build another portal. Then trap some chickens in holes and collect their eggs for a few minecraft days. At any rate, new animals will spawn in your chunks, but it is very very very rare. Since I've taken over the entire island my world is centered around, I have had a few cows and chickens spawn in the area.

I tried your plan and it actually works. I even built a railway in the Nether so I could farm my animals faster! :biggrin.gif:

But I have a question. Once you cause two animals to breed, can they breed again or do you have to wait for their offspring to grow up and then breed THEM?

If a animal is killed it wont respawn again. This is because in 1.9 breeding wíll be added. Sry dude.

Ahh. Thanks for the help. But I CAN'T breed new animals because there are none around to begin with! D:

posted a message on No friendly mobs encountered. Why?
I've been playing my main world for around 10-11 months now and just last week I realised how few passive mobs have been spawning. Its actually eerily silent around my home because of the lack of cows and sheep roaming around. The only passive mobs I've seen in the past month or so are a few pigs who've somehow traveled several chunks over and wound up near my home.

I don't know why they don't spawn anymore. I have a MASSIVE (probably 3 chunks) of area around my house lit up and even then they don't appear!

So I was wondering if only certain chunks can spawn passive mobs and if anyone else has encountered this.

I just think that potions are quite half-assed (pardon my French.) Combat is easy enough with an iron, no, STONE sword and now we have the ability to do knock backs and buff our strength with potions?

I agree with whoever made that massively long post above me (I forgot your name, sorry.) I've actually had to make SEVERAL new worlds within a week of each other because I'm sitting on chests full of stone, pork, and materials by the 7-8th day.

I wish it could go back to 1.4.....

I want to see much more dynamic combat (unrealistic expectations for Minecraft.) I want to see limbs fly off and the number of hearts for hostile mobs bumped up from 10 to 30-35. I also want REAL pain noises for mobs (zombies will shreik of set of fire, spiders will hiss manically while they die, and skeletons will make a shattering noise upon death.)

People used to say that Terraria was a 2D Minecraft. Now Minecraft is becoming a 3D Terraria.

If there was a way to angle fences, possibly some palisade (sharpened wooden stakes that stick out towards attackers.)

    Also, NO LIGHT INSIDE ME.
