    yep it took me awhile to figure that aspect out :)

    Took the program over a half hour to generate ( not in 3D mode ) even on a i7 950 with 12gb of ram :/

    At least now I can see how it's built while I build it on the survival pvp server I play on

    I have just realized I'm am totally clueless to how a Torus is made up and the math involved in it's construction - I have been doing everything wrong and literally misunderstood the inputs for it's construction - generating a torus of 200 and 50 gives me what I'm after :)

    Think I'm adding the wrong numbers to the program or just reading things wrong - so radius is 250 so from one end to the other of Torus would be 500 but I want the actual shape ( ring thickness )to be 100x100 - sorry probably not explaining things right here

    Been looking for something similar that will generate a torus 500x500 and the donut 100x100 so I assume the inputs for the program are 500 and 300 but after 45 seconds the program crashes.

    Does anyone have a Schematic that I could use in MCEdit or a savegame would be just as good for this sized Torus so I can see how it's constructed.

    Skidoodle's Method may not be 100% ( Yet )but the co-ords given are very close - I've been playing around with this method for couple maps so here is location of a Stronghold for the seed you gave.

    This was a test to see how close a stronghold was to spawn point so I made a map and just filled in that map area.

    It's alot easier to locate if you have Villages on your mapped area

    Same map area but this time I just searched for block types 4 43 44 47 67 71 98 101


    You can see where the 2 Villages are and at the bottom is your Stronghold :smile.gif:

    For the hell of it I wanted to add lighting to a project I'm doing - I wanted to stand in a control room flick a switch and have 8 levels of lights come on.

    Being a total noob at redstone and circuits and having limited space to work in this is what I came up with as a lighting system.

    Diagonal System (slow to turn on/off)


    Straight System (10x faster)
