The Dark Descent is a world seed challenge similar to the 404 challenge.

RULES
1. Once it turns night time, you MUST enter the cave. You can enter before-hand.
2. NO leaving the cave. You must stay in it forever.
3. Play in Ironman Mode. That means you must play on Hard and once you die, you must delete the world and start over.
4. No hacking! such as the use of SSP Commands Mod, zombe's modpack, etc. Programs such as INVEdit, INVGrid, NBTEdit, etc, are not allowed as well.
5. You must post your entry as a series on Youtube (or any other video sharing site)
How to get to the cave
1. Proceed to -12, 65, 18
2. Dig down
3. Swim up the water stream HALF WAY and go to the tunnel on the left side.

The Ultimate Goal
To win The Dark Descent, you must have at least 10 iron, 5 gold, 1 diamond, and 4 lapis lazuli.

I then proceeded to x = -309, y = 61, z = -144. I found a deep cave and gold at level 61. lulz?
