Probably some sort of permission issue. What blocks can't you break? All of them?
Yes, all of them. I wandered around and tried to place and break anything I could. Outside, inside my own cell, in the prison. Everywhere. I also can't flip switches.
I am currently not sure if I am going to back this project any more as it has strayed a bit too far from my original premise. There are several issues I have with the prison, and I would rather personally pull out than force others to change their ideal prison server. The server can stay up as long as Tauryuu wants it to; it has always been his and I am fine with that. As I've always said, anyone is free to use this or any other of my ideas for servers. I am, and will always remain, open to experiencing Minecraft in new and creative ways. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a reality, whether you were a builder or a guard or only played for a few minutes, because when it really comes down to it, player base is an essential part of any successful server.
It's your idea, I'm totally cool with losing my work so far, and you and Tauryuu reworking things. I was hoping for a unique prison experience too. Force us into your ideal server! Go for it!

What can you do at night time: I can talk to other prisoners, craft, sleep, and plot my escape.
Can you kill a guard: You can.. but shouldn't or you'll face penalties.
Where would be a good place to get random items: The prison dump

Do you think you can escape: Yes :-) I plan on scoping out my surroundings for a while first though.
Is it okay to destroy random blocks to escape: No
What are the five best qualities for a guard:
1) No god-complex 2) Observant 3) Good aim :-) 4) Conscious of prisoner's enjoyment of the server 5) Knowledgeable of prison's flaws and of ways to escape.
How often will you play on this server: Hopefully a lot. I hope lots of people use this server so it is more fun.
Just did another race for wool, and skype may not work for me unless we are just doing text chat. But honestly Skype is just, as a program, too bulky. Can my team use mumble or something? if not, I won't be able to use the voice part of skype, just the chat.
