    No, sadly, but that would be awesome! The arrows are just stuck in the repeaters and jiggle a bit when the repeater is powered, making the THWANG noise, but that is about it. If this DID actually hurt mobs, that would be pretty cool. As of now it does... pretty much nothing...

    Yes, I know it's virtually useless, but It was funny at the time and we were all bored as hell, so I figured we might as well put it up here. I have no idea what this could possible be used for though. Maybe an arrow drop trap, annoyance machine or a doorbell in SMP. Also could, if you know how to time it, be used for slight clicking noises in Noteblock songs.

    Well, messing around on an SMP, a couple of friends and I found that if arrows are shot into Redstone Repeaters, they tend to glitch up and spazz out whenever the repeaters are powered. They shake, make impact noises, and as far as I know they do not despawn because the game thinks they are still impacting. Every impact resets the respawn time, if I remember correctly. Anyway, we decided to have a little fun with it and fire about 1,000 arrows into a long line of repeaters just for giggles and grins. We searched the internet and could find nothing similar to this, so as far as I know this is completely new. Enough fuss, here's the video!



    On another note, this is my first video, so it's also a test video of sorts. Please let me know what you think of it as far as voice quality and video quality go.

    Great mods, I can't tell you HOW much fun they are to screw around with, SSP and SMP. But, I have a few suggestions for the WW2 guns.

    1. Make bullets damage entities inbetween red flashes. If you're shot more than once IRL, you're going to be hurt just as badly, no matter how long the delay between shots is.
    2. Faster bullets? I've noticed that sniping is an utter pain due to how slow the bullets are.
    3. Could you make the weapons make sound for others in SMP? It's annoying to be getting shot from 5 blocks away but not able to hear to make out a direction.

    Other than these things, excellent work. I hope to see more updates in the future!

    I understand that. Having a pack this awesome must be very difficult to make.

    Also, a lot of complaints here are about the textures lagging MC. I get 200+ FPS with the 128x packs, so it's your computer, not the pack. But that's why the 64x and 32x ones are there. :tongue.gif:

    My friend XyPhoGR has been working on a modpack called the Adventure Pack. It is not a very well-known mod, but I would greatly appreciate if you could make GreatSea textures for them.

    Actually the idea was to have a hellish normal world, not a modified Aether, much like the Dark World in LoZ:Link to the Past, if you have ever played it. Other than that you are correct, and the eroded landscape sounds nice.

    No mods are truly necessary, I was simply posting an idea of one that would, in my opinion, be fun to have. Yes, the Nether is lacking, but there are already plenty of mods that compensate for this, I.E. NetherCraft.

    Also, please do not advertise your topics in my thread. As you stated, it is off-topic and does not belong here. And quite honestly, it is annoying.

    I have been putting quite a bit of thought into this, and would do it myself if I knew how to code or program it. Anyway, we have the Nether, a dark, volcanic underworld flowing with magma, and the aether mod, which is a heavenly sky world with floating islands and a very light feel to it. Well, what if there was a mod that allowed you to turn the overworld, the very soil you start the game on, into a dark, abandoned, ghostly area?

    It would have the same terrain generation features as the overworld, but replacing most blocks with a more demonic texture during the time you are in the dark area. The sky is a light brown, grass and trees are dead, mobs are skeletons or spirits, and abandoned towns can be found sometimes. Water is replaced by a green acidic material, and volcanoes can be found periodically. It would have its own item tiers, making overworld items ineffective, with the same strength as wood tools. (much like the aether mod) darkwood, bloodstone, steel, and Light. Light ore generates at diamond level very rarely, and is the most effective tool against enemies and blocks in the world. The portal to the Dark World would be crafted out of slowstone or netherrack and activated by lava.

    I know this would be a pain in the ass and take months to code, but in my opinion it would be well worth the time to have something of the sort.

    While this is compatable with the Aether mod, it's pretty derpy to have all of the randomly flying squid spawners. I would recommend removing them.

    I love how people keep asking things answered in the OP, and complaining about bosses that are intentionally difficult.

    In any case, I love the mod. Well thought out, original, excellently coded. Infinite diamonds for you guys. I look forward to seeing updates. :3
