This idea seems very incomplete, but it seems like a good start for a great idea. There would need to be more information on the mob itself, whether it's a whale or a mythical creature like others aboveboard have suggested, like wha it's behavior is, and it's stats. More information on the lantern, like crafting recipes, would be pretty useful too.

Meh, I personally don't find an issue with making it a gamerule. Like keepInventory, any upset in game balance from using it is your fault, not the developers'. I don't have anything against the cooldown; I just believe that if so many people want this, then there's really no good reason not to put it in, as simple as it is to implement.
Except, the developers said they wouldn't implement this for the reason that it goes completely against what a whole update was for. I think what they're trying to say was that if you don't want that feature go back to playing 1.8.

I have a suggestion for the savanna, but you already have the barakoa is already a thing, so maybe it could be used for the desert instead. If so, maybe it could be more of a sphinx.
Since when most think of a savanna they think of lions, hyenas or cheetahs, it's supposed to be a savanna predator. It's called a corocot, which is a shortening of the Latin word corocottas, which means animal. The corocot itself is the size of a sheep and has the body of a lion, the tail of a cheetah, the head of an African wild dog and it's patterning, or alternatively the patterning of a hyena, it also has a mane running down from its head down to its tail. It also has glowing yellow eyes in the night, which gives a warning before it uses its signature attack.
Its main attack is where it dashes towards its prey with the speed of a cheetah, when it catches up to the prey, it will either bite or claw at them, sometimes killing them instantly, if not it will just use some other attacks to finish off the last of its health. It only uses this attack when hunting prey, like pigs, sheep, cattle, zombies, and the player. It will also use this when one comes to close to its den. When it kills prey, it will hold all of the items in its mouth, but only one will be visible hanging out of its mouth, the items can only be obtained by killing the corocot, this all applies if the player is killed. If the player is killed and it's items held by the corocot the mob will not despawn. While the corocot holds the preys items it will slowly walk back to the den, if any mob gets within fifteen blocks, it will be attacked as it is seen to be a scavenger. In truth, only two mobs will attack the corocot for the items, that is the zombie and the spider. It will then pick up the newly killed mobs drops, and the old drops will be deleted, unless the old drops are those of a player, in which case the items will not be switched if deleted.
The den of the corocot is usually under a tree, on a large rock, or in a cave near the surface, you can tell it is a corocot den by a unique patterning on the rocks/tree, which are three giant claw marks, instead it could be 'fur particles', which would be like smoke particles, but yellow, which are supposed to be shedded fur. In the den there may be a cub or two, which I currently have no ideas for. Perhaps they could be tamable as a hunting animal, which run after prey. Though that may not fit with the mod or minecraft.
It would also be hunted by barakoa, in response it would just run away, like it would anytime its about to die, however it runs away automatically.
It would have fourty health like an enderman, and deal extreme damage when it charges into prey, but still deal a lot on its normal attack. They drop a few random items from other mobs, along with its head, it's claws, and its fur coat, which I don't have any further ideas for.
Sorry for it it being so long. I hope you like it.

That's because mobs in minecraft have no gender.

"thats not an excuse, that's just you trying to sound smart without having anything to back up your argument."
I am smart, you know this :2 ... the excerpt I was replying to was not an argument("this name is stupid"), so I did not need to debate your unfounded claim -__- your smart? I would've never guessed since you never learn from criticisms, or make intelligent, well thought out suggestions. Also it is an argument since that means to disagree with another.
"Already explained this above, nobody uses this term, it's not obvious."
Holy cow, this is so trite -__- ... the context in which "minecraftites" is used should make the sense of the word obvious even if you're not familiar with the referent -__- ... for example, if you heard the phrase, "I paid Bartin 1,000 Bartickles for his genius advice" you should be able to tell that the word 'Bartickle' refers to some type of currency :2 ...sheesh I looked up minecraftites and minecraftities and nothing came up, looked up minecrafters and got results
First of all, this name is stupid X[) you tried to use cruel irony, but I have reasoning for the name, 1 it sounds similar to ender pearl, 2 it can mean a port which is a place where stuff is transferred, in this case to the end, a port to the end, and 3 it also means ender teleport.
"but then again you didn't come up with a new name either, not so clever"
I don't have to, I think the name I came up with is fine - if not - the best possible name for my epic "suggestion" obviously not since nobody except you likes the name. And it's not an "epic" suggestion, since once again it has no support.
"I can out iron ingots together without slime balls, along with almost every other ore or materiall, also why did you still insult him? Your using different words sure but it's stil the same insult."
While I disagree with Mojang's current method of combining 9 of a unique item into a "block", I can at least conceive of ways that it would hypothetically work "in-game" (the iron/gold block is a 3x3x3 cube of iron/gold ingots stacked upon eachother, redstone dust might be clay-like in the sense that it is malleable and can therefore be formed into a cube shape, etc ... things like the diamond block are impossible and only exist for their "quality of life" type function) I can not conceive of a way for enderpearls, with their spherical shape -__-, to come together without the assistance of some type of adhesive :2 still, even with adhesive it wouldnt turn into a cube

Yep! Sorry for the delay! I am currently working on updates for the newer versions with some exciting new features and new birds!! I will be skipping the 1.9 update so hopefully that doesn't upset anybody. Here are just a few screenshots from my twitter to show off what I've been up to:
New parrot model:
Updated peacock model:
More phoenix types (and egg fixes):
A new and improved (hopefully glitch free) bird encylopedia!
Updates definitely will be coming! I do have to apologise immensely for such a delay with everything. It's really hard trying to update mods alongside trying to study hard for university work. I'm trying my hardest to get this out to you all though!

^This. These birds are wonderfully crafted, and I'd love to have some of them in my world, but I already have mo' creatures installed and I don't want my world to be overcrowded with mobs everywhere. If this mod could have a config file or in game menu that let me pick and choose which mobs spawn and how many like mo creatures does, that would be amazing.

That part is quite difficult, but this suggestion would not affect that part in any way.
If it never went to the return portal then that would be too hard.
I wasn't trying to suggest that she doesn't go to the portal, because that would definitely be too hard, and make the fight more monotonous like it used to be. The fight definitely needs that period of the dragon being easily hit.
And if he were to turn to faster while next to the portal, that would be a lot harder in my opinion.
She doesn't turn faster, she just turns. And it would only be every 3-4 seconds, which would probably be only once every time she goes to the portal, because she doesn't stay there for that long. (The Ender Dragon is female btw)
I mean, he can already knock you far away while hitting him while he's flying next to the portal (and if you're not skilled enough with water buckets, you may die).
I think that this only happens if you try to shoot her with a bow. The only way she hits you far away is if you are in front of her (where you wouldn't be, because of the ender acid breath), because she only flies away forwards in the direction that she is facing.
Did you really have to put this in such a massive text size?

This is a pretty clever idea, using reverse thinking to guide players, but...it feels a little out of place to me, like, there's no other dialogue in Minecraft, or indication that they speak English, or can even speak at all.

That is true, but if the overall idea is terrible, and the OP continues to keep it alive, ignores criticism, and doesn't improve it in any way, it's better to leave it abandon.
In this suggestion's case, it's not bad in any way, and can be improved, because the OP is willing to make changes for the better.

Yeah, two people talking on the same account is confusing at best and seems disingenuous at worst. (It has the potential for saying things like "It's not ME on my account that's being salty I promise! It's someone ELSE." when it's really just an outlet for one person to be salty.) I can't even know for sure if you're two people. On the internet nobody knows you're a horse lime. So all *I* can see is that THIS account is posting this stuff. There's no differentiation between your posts IMO, and if you want there to be he should get his own account. So my posts are to the account WDSMinecraft, because similarly people's opinions of WDSMinecraft's behavior will apply to this account no matter who is at the other end... Including for things like moderator actions, etc. If your brother is in charge of the thread and you insist on it being him, not you, posting poorly then maybe you should leave the thread as his so there's only one person maintaining it, rather than answering for him.
"Next, I am pretty sure all the hating stuff has been cleared up as someone else (Endergirl00) already commented and pointed out that stuff, and we have not saying anything about hating ever since. Next, if I am going to make another suggestion, wouldn't I save everything up till I post my suggestion? My brother was just putting it out there to give you guys a hint on what is to come. Me? I am just answering the questions about the mobs in the suggestion and clearing up stuff since my brother hasn't really said anything on this thread for a while"
Yeah, she did point it out. But it was just one post before you "stopped" that you insulted people telling them to "think before they comment again", as if we were just posting mindlessly or were stupid or posting only knee jerk flaming reactions. That's pretty salty IMO. It's not OK to insult the people giving you thoughtful critique.
I was also pointing it out and suggesting that the guide be read because you should be reading it. If you're making every mistake in the book maybe read the book.
If you are going to make a series of suggestions related to one feature, no, you should NOT save it all up (for later). Or rather, YES you SHOULD save it all up, to make one info-filled concise post that ties it all together, not dance around the subject for multiple pages making it up as you go, chaining ideas together until they make sense three+ pages into the thread. We don't care about "a hint" we care about trying to see if it's a good suggestion or not. Nobody is going to be "oh please oh please tell us more about this vague idea from some random stranger on the internet! I am waiting on baited breath for more info!". If you're not going to give us all the info at once and how it relates, don't post it. If it doesn't make any sense without other suggestions tied in, we are going to tell you it's dumb. If you don't post it all at once, we don't care if there's more LATER, it's dumb NOW... And you should be posting it all at once if you want us to think otherwise. "I'll tell you later" is a poor excuse and goes against the goals of the forum which is to present well thought out, fleshed-out and developed ideas for critiquing.
Which is reason #2 I referred you to the guide. Because the guide TELLS you all this in advance before you post because these are common mistakes that are really annoying and can be avoided.
And maybe if the OP isn't posting and doesn't want to, you should let it go. How do we even know that what you're posting are "his" ideas and not "yours" and they're unrelated? It's not up to you to answer "his" thread.
So yeah.. All my points still stand. Just read the guide before you post, and flesh out your ideas thoroughly before you post them. And don't be salt just because people don't like them or call you out for making textbook mistakes.
