1.Calcium and Sodium are done!
2. Bronze's recipe is changed to 3 copper and 1 tin (place it anywhere you like, its shapeless =), the amount of copper you can find in each vein is also increased as a result.
Calcium and sodium exists as blocks near the beachs like clay. They drop dust upon destruction.

aluminium wiring acts just like redstone, with a return ratio of 3.

this produces 3 pieces of Wire.
Titanium is above iron. less plentiful. can be crafted into armor and tools
Nickel is above Titanium. also rarer. just below Diamond in strenght.
Inconel is an alloy made of 2 Nickel bars, one titanium and one aluminium bar. this creates Inconel Mixure. this mixture then has to be smelted into proper bars of Inconel.
Inconel is twice as strong as Diamond. Inconel Buckets can be crafted. these buckets can pick up lava. when used in furnaces, the bucket is returned, unlike the Iron and Aluminium buckets. Aluminium Buckets are weaker and thus should degrade.
other useful elements: Sulphur.
Latex. (tapped from trees, used for plastics. Sulphur + Plastic = vulcanized plastic) (not an element BTW)
Litium. used for Batteries. a battery builds up a Redstone Charge (in seconds). after it reaches it's maximum, say 10 seconds of power, it doesn't charge further. when power is removed, the Capacitor unloads.
Liking some of your ideas.
Actually, I browsed through my previous works (projects) about covalent bonding and I intend to stick them all in. Covalent bonding will occur in a new furnace type, called 'The minilab'. There will be 2 inputs and 1 output. Those 2 inputs will be a metal and a non-metal to create a covalent bond between them. These compounds will have better use (for eg titanium with matX) and strength.
Also, I intend to create another machine called 'ionic lab' where ionic bonds happen. Similarly, there will be 2 input, but a fuel will be required. It is used to make the strongest materials (as ionic compunds are).

May 7, 2011well, I find those changes kinda unnecessary and disturbing as it changes how I work. You see, I like to put every block as BlockWhatever no matter what it is, even ores. I also like to place items as CopperItem as that is how I remember stuff. You should had placed a comment asking me to change instead :smile.gif:Posted in: Requests / Ideas For Mods
Also, don't change the name for pngs. I saved it as that name to let me remember lol
Lastly, thanks for the ore spawn code, I'll see if it works.
Edit: you're publicizing our codes. Are you sure psychicearth wanted the mod to be open source? We wanted that in the first place so only we can put up our codes together right?

P.s. Tin and copper is done (with their own custom textures), bronzeis nearly done (ingot and the way to make it is, but bronze weapons and tools aren't)

Basically, this is a rough idea of how I am going to implement this. I thought of the 4 ingot idea, but it would require a large number of codes as this will result in a large number of alternatives.
So, the furnace will check for (matX) in its slot, and see what other material is on another slot. If (matY) is there, they will both smelt to create 2x(matXY) (It didn't make sense to me to only have 1 ingot for output).
This idea of mine is to incorporate both redstone and diamond into this 'smelting tree' as I call it.

You guys might want to add in some items that 'captures' those air elements or 'purify' air to get them.

It would be simple, you would just need a bullet image, a gun image and copy the bow's code and play around with it to make a gun.
And some bullet sounds for more realism.
