The armour doesn't degrade means that the armour won't give you less protection when at lower durability.

Also SOME PEEPS play custom maps
Did you heard of GM4? That is survival with Command Block Modules.
Mojang didn't add anything for simple crrative players in this updated.

if this is what happens, PvP will change.
That or Re-Logic bought Mojang and want to make it similar to Terraria.

The large blade is named clever and the Minig Fatigue is there for the animation(I think).
Also TiC adds the posibility of putting redstone on your tool, on tools(pickaxe shovel, axe) it will make them to ge faster, on weapons(broadsword, rapier, clever, dagger) they will have a smaller cooldown.

I have a couple suggestions for the 1.9+ versios of DE
1. a new inventory slot in the DE helmets where you can put a dragon head: If you put it in a wyvern helmet, the head will look like a resurrected dragon head, if you put it in a draconic helmet, it will look like a chaos guardian head
2. Maybe have a slot in the chestplate inventory for an elytra and when you glide you look like one of the 2 DE dragons?
3. A Wyvern/Draconic shield
