Within a half hour, I made it out of Atlanta. "I've made it. Now what?" Now that I think of it, I didn't really have a plan of any kind. "I'll just keep driving until I find a group of survivors, if there are survivors."

The Lancer is a commonly used assault rifle issued by the Coalition. It contains a large magazine, holding sixty rounds. One of it's most distinctive features is the chainsaw bayonet. With it's sharp teeth and high speed, it is capable of taking down most organic enemies in a matter of seconds.
The Mark One Lancer Assault Rifle was used frequently during the Pendulum Wars, before humanity's first encounter with the Locust. Shortly after the start of the Locust Wars, the Mk I Lancer was being replaced by the Mk II, due to the bayonet not very useful against the Locust, not to mention the high kickback. After the Sinking of Jacinto, and the start of the Lambent Pandemic, this particular Lancer started making some reappearances due to the scarcity of supplies.
Longshot Sniper Rifle:
The Longshot is a high-caliber, bolt-action sniper rifle. The weapon can only hold one bullet at a time. The rifle made it's first appearance during the Pendulum Wars. With it's high power, accuracy, and competent scope, one can remain uninjured or even unseen during firefights. The Locust are also known to use this weapon.
Hammer of Dawn:
The Hammer of Dawn is an Imulsion-powered, high-powered weapon. The Hammer is a satellite orbiting Sera. It is triggered by a targeting laser. Due to the fact that it's in Sera's exosphere, The Hammer of Dawn can only be used if the satellites are available, the skies are clear, and the user is outside and has a clear line of sight.
Snub Pistol:
The Snub Pistol is a standard issue sidearm issued by the Coalition. This pistol has low power and a small range, and as such, is rarely used. It can, however, be quite useful in certain situations if used properly.
Gnasher Shotgun:
The Gnasher Shotgun is a lever-action shotgun. The Gnasher fires 12-gauge shells, with nine pellets per shell. The Gnasher can hold up to eight shells. This weapon, due to it's power at close-range, are very effective against Wretches.
Sawed-Off Shotgun:
The Sawed-Off Shotgun is a small double-barreled shotgun. This shotgun has really high power, capable of tearing down most targets within one shot at point-blank range. This shotgun can only fire from one barrel at a time, and the barrels are reloaded individually.
Bolo Grenade:
The Bolo Grenade is a standard issue fragmentation grenade. The main grenade is attached to a chain that is swung and thrown. Despite it's high power, it is unable to damage enemies who are behind cover, no matter how close the grenade is.
Smoke Grenade:
The smoke grenade is a nonlethal, smoke-dispensing grenade. The smoke grenade causes very little damage, and it's sole purpose is to provide cover by hiding the user from enemy sights. The smoke grenade, however, is capable of stunning it's target.
Vulcan Gatling Gun:
The Vulcan Gatling Gun, also known as the Vulcan Cannon, is a high-powered machine gun. Despite the fact that the Cannon requires two people, one should not underestimate this weapon. Due to the high firepower of this weapon, it is capable of killing even a Reaver in a matter of seconds.
The Hammerburst Assault Rifle was commonly used by the Locust during the early days of the Locust Wars. This weapon has a six-round burst, but when it comes to accuracy and power, not even the Lancer surpasses this weapon, especially at longer ranges, and as such, is sometimes used by the Gears.
The Torque Bow was originally made by the Locust. It uses explosive-tipped, Imulsion-powered arrows. It has very high power surpassed only by a few weapons, such as the Boomshot and the Digger. The longer the bow trigger is held down, the stronger the shot will be. Before and during the Lambent Pandemic, Theron Guards, a sub-type of Locust, frequently used the Torque Bow.
Hammerburst Mk II:
The Mark II Hammerburst is an upgrade of the Hammerburst Assault Rifle used by the Locust Horde in the early days of the Locust Wars. Unlike it's Mk I counterpart, the Mark II has both a semi-auto and a full-auto firing modes. Unlike the previous version, the Mark II has a small magazine, holding only twenty rounds.

"Looks like the promise of that refugee center was a lie." I kept driving and sped up as fast as this car can go, trying to evade the walkers.

Not wanting to wait anymore, I got up from the chair, aimed my gun at the door, and pulled the trigger, expertly hitting a walker in the head. I continued firing upon the door until it was clear of walkers. I exited the house and shot the walkers near my car. When the walkers were down I made my way to my car, only to have a walker grab my ankle as I entered the driver's side. I tried shooting the walker, but I had ran out of ammo. Throwing the gun to the seat behind me, I grabbed my axe, and struck the walker, barely missing it's wrist. When I was freed from the walker's grasp, I closed the door, turned on the ignition and drove off, ignoring the herd.
"I'll definitely have to go to Atlanta." I said as I was driving east.

As I tried to reach for some bread, a walker started banging on the door. "F---." I said. "How the hell did they see me?" I figured out my only option. "How am I gonna get to the car?"
I went to the bedroom. "Where is it?" I searched everywhere in the room, under the bed, in the drawers, even behind the television stand. "Of course." I went over to the bathroom adjacent to the bedroom. I opened the cabinet beneath the sink and pulled out a metal lockbox. Taking my hatchet, I smashed the lock and opened the box. Inside was a Colt M1911 handgun with one box of ammo.
Loading the gun and taking the ammo, I went to the living room to gather the remaining supplies, limited as they may be. "Looks like I'll have to go to Atlanta after all." I sat on a chair to wait for the walkers to clear away from the door.
