Quote fromYou should try to do Shy Guy i would be amazed if you could do that, and he should drop his mask so u can wear it like a hat ^^
Hrm.. They don't really fit the wild creature thing.. But maybe as some rare, spawning trader creature? Maybe..
Quote fromAlright, if you're still new and can't do most of my suggestions, then could you at least do Shy Guys? They're just so awesome and wearing a shy guy mask would be awesome, even if it didn't make you invisible to mobs. I wouldn't think Boos would be easier than shy guys, just sayin'.
Well, I'm getting better though. And I'm open to hearing suggestions and ideas man, but that doesn't mean I'm going to accept them all. :tongue.gif:
Shy guys are one of my favorite Super Mario mobs..
Quote fromi dont really think shyguys would fit minecraft to well, in my opinion you should stick to animal based creatures only, like octorks from zelda, thatd be cool. and you should increase the drop rate for the shells, ive killed 7 and still haven't got one yet :/ not to mention finding them is hard as **** (which i like them being rare, keep that!)
EDIT: maybe make super rare red parabuzzy and being able to make the red bombombs :tongue.gif:
But like Shiro here says, they don't exactly fit in. Now, if I made them as a rare creature, it might be a bit better. Like some kind of another rare biped in the world that exists with you, hehe. I'm thinking a trader mob.. That would be hard to kill. Maybe, just maybe...
And I have it at about 1/3 chance of Parabuzzies dropping their shells. Think I should put it to 1/2 everyone?
And yeah, having rare variations of Parabuzzies was a plan from the beginning. I might be able to do it soon, I think.
W-Woah, ahaha.. Ok let's see..
Koopa Bros. huh? I love them as well, and you do have some interesting ideas for them all. For one thing though I have no idea how to do projectiles, so that would be something. And to be honest, they're mobs that I don't see fitting in Minecraft. They're aggressive minions from the Koopa Troop that work for Bowser, while the mobs I'm making are sort of.. Well the could be considered neutral, or wild creatures even if they also work for him. I'm probably being a lil' too tied to retarded or nonexistent story elements, but I hope you understand. I just want the creatures I make to feel as if they're wild beings that have always existed in the Minecraft world, ya know? Even if they are influenced from other games, haha.
Quote fromIf the animation isn't too hard to pull off then I think piranha plants would be a nice addition. The best case scenario is having them hide as red flowers until you get close. It would make them a bit of a mix between the Yoshi's Island and Super Mario 64 behaviors.
I was definitely thinking the same idea from the very beginning! Somehow they are hidden, maybe as a wild flower, but when you get close.. Snap! They're model doesn't seem too difficult, and they are fitting of Minecraft.
Maybe, man. Maybe.
