1) Fairer on consoles (no one has a better computer there...unless you mod your console and then get banned in 24 hours at most)
2) To many modders and hackers on PC. Some people enjoy that, some people despise that (including me)
3) It becomes a pain to update stuff sometimes, and changing stuff around (researching and trying to find drivers) can take up a half of a day if not your whole day.
4) PC gaming is coming back thanks to Steam, and there is fun mods (that dont ruin peoples games and fun) like those for L4D1 and 2, where they have created their own maps.
Edit: 5) "When consoles became cheaper and sexier and got exclusives."
As for 3, you dont have to do that. Why would you do that, you so silly. Even so, you so silly, is not so hard, is easy :biggrin.gif:
As for 5, sure, yea, ok, low quality console-only games, sure okay, sounds good.

>double jumping is only available for a short time, he may as well just have let us jump 2 blocks.
>was playing dig deep mode, got diamonds, couldnt find a single freaking monster. At all.
>cave ins. Nothing more
I'd rate this a 1/5. I am generous for giving him one free point because he coded it. He didnt get any additions due to the fact he put in alot of gay features and didnt add necessary ones.
Aug 11, 2011Why work hard on something when you know the majority of the vidya populace will buy it anyways?Posted in: General Gaming
They understand that their clients are unaware of what COULD be, so they lower the bar. Less work and more sells is the obvious choice
Aug 11, 2011It is an mmo where the main basis of the game is "grind your ass off, achieve success"Posted in: General Gaming
The funny thing is, my little brother plays WoW. He has never legitimately gotten a lv85. his friend gave him one. my little brother always does the same thing:
1) make character
2) level up character
3) level 20-40, im bored
4) delete character
5) go back to 1)
He never has any real fun, and the 'excitement' of a 'raid' has worn off. The only times i see him enjoy himself happens to be the only time that his friends are on. It seems that game revolves around grinding your ass off and playing with friends.
Plus, the game is too easy.
For one, you autolock your targets.
For two, there are no consequences other than 'damaged armor'
three, lack of a dynamic world. I mean dynamic by 'city x has been raided by y and has been lost!'
I could go on, but i guess ill stop here. Any game that has no consequences and autotargets for you is easy.
Aug 10, 2011A ruined city with a bunch of buildings that are ~50 stories high, mars-like terrain (orange-red ground, hills, etc.Posted in: General Off Topic
Was running from something, ran into a lab, ran into a portal, spawned in the air, fell to my death, respawned on second-from-top floor of a building, had supernatural strength and maneuver through air, smashed through damaged wall, watched an army of midgets walking to what looked like helms deep, they got massacred by the men on the walls.
realized i was still falling after smahsing through the wall, looked down, looked back up, now back down.
the floor was now spikes.
fell downwards, angled myself to fall inbetween the spikes only to encounter spike-ception. It was like a never-ending free-fall of angling between spikes to survive. As soon as i got past one set of spikes, another would show up. and another. and another.
until finally i encountered a way of no escape. The bottom.
Except, the bottom wasnt just a bit of dirt, no. It was composed of thousands of tiny spikes, no bigger than your index finger.
before i hit it i woke up, recorded dream, and done.

Whoever has the highest legitimate ratio of posts/day that is who i would pick, i guess..

Drawn to life: The Next Chapter
Let me just tell you why.
Well, it all started with the ending...
There were hardly any levels, the levels were short and easy to run through, and the bosses were generally too easy to beat.
The game ended way too quickly. I beat it in less than 4 hours. Keep in mind i grabbed every pirate token, saved every rapoza, and bought everything there was.
Each and every drawing i made had an anarchy sign in it and was demented, just cuz
