You mean the one in the video? No, the one in the video is quite old, it's from 2008. I was just giving proof that it's possible. Plus, I don't know what you're thinking, because he's gonna put it in the case and it'll look nice. When you build a laptop, you put it in a case, not leave it exposed.Edit: And if you look herehttp://www.computers...your-own-laptopYou can see that it's actually in a case. They leave it open to show off the parts.
That's different, they use barebones machines. They will build it for you though.
Why don't you quit suggesting stupid comments? I have stated I don't like sitting at a desk. I don't want a desktop. Especially transferring data would be a pain?
No gaming laptop will sit on your lap, they don't have a strong enough power port on them, and they tend to break.
In accordance with this, I was considering buying a business class internet rather than just use my home one, but i'd have to scrap a PSU from one of my friends old projects, and that still leaves me with trying to find a HDD. To be honest, when I first started the idea out, I had already considered hiring a company or such to protect me from DDoS attacks and to pay for the internet myself, sadly that all didnt really make it into the final cut, as I hoped, that I'd first be able to start out very small, and try not to attract much attention, thereby avoiding the DDoS'es and my ISP beating me with the internet cable(Thats an exaggeration, they'll use a whip).
I don't think you realize, it is 300$ a MONTH. You don't just pay for it once.
Wait, I have an Asrock Fm2a85x Extreme4-M Motherboard so i dont have a graphics card.
Everything else is fine but should i be worried about using shaders? i dont know the full specs on this thing but on vanilla minecraft i get about 60-70 fps, would i be ok with shaders?

Again this is not a fact, Alienware has great cooling (Considering last-current gen models) Like i said before I get an average about 68c while under load... I think that is excellent cooling... also it's dual fans only the 14 inch model has a single fan.
These are great temps, I'll hit 85*C with my MSI. I don't know why everyone's bashing you. If you want to spend the money, and have a great experience with the product, then good. I'd suggest you not bash him any more, Creeper. You're just digging yourself a hole.

My 670m is much better then the 7750 I had.

Neither of those exist. OP if you go for laptops get one with a 760m or better and get one of the new Haswell processors..

Not really. They aren't full size 680's and in most 17.3 gaming laptops there is extra space. So naturally they will fit.

It is decent, but Sager or Asus are much better.
