There are signs telling where all the paths go. If you want, I'll be happy to show it to you.

The time that I wrote this, and more precisely when I was on a couple days before, the path to the questing guild had no indicator sign from the spawn in sewers. I'm sure it was added by the time of your reply, i just wanted to make sure it was added because people had asked for it before. Anyway, thanks for adding it and I'm glad to see the server keep growing.

Maybe the addition of the warp buttons at the different spawn areas to go to the different places. I know at the sewer spawn there is a warp button to go to the Donor area and Spleef Arena. Maybe adding buttons to the other rank areas as well if someone is not wanting to travel or is being pvp trapped and there are no sorcerers on to assist. They will still have to go through pvp areas, depending on the area, once they arrive but will get the opportunity to get away to another area if they are at that rank of course. I know I am having to constantly warp around or run around to get back to the sewer spawn to get to the Donor warp button. I know a common theme I have seen at many other prison servers is to have multiple warp sign options at each respective ranks spawn for faster travel.
    ...

I think that if there were warp signs down it would work, like ruins to sewers and with the release of inferno it would have ruins. I support the proposal to add warp signs, but its not like that really matters so...

Also on the line of signs, A path is set up to the questing guild but last check, there was no sign to tell the sewers people where the path goes. Just FYI.

if anything, it would align the silicone atoms in it and make it stronger.....
But obsidian is already blast proof, so it would be hard to make it stronger than normal obsidian in game terms. But i think that the purpose of this topic is to make obsidian go the way of sandstone and nether quarts and have decorative counterparts.

Now that I think about it, you are right in the real world application sense. I was just imagining that since it appears smoother, it would be easier to break the surface. Plus it would be the trade off: style for protection. Plus Plus, that would mean it would be easier for the player to break after placing, making designing easier. But that's assuming real world physics and chemistry invalid, which has never stopped Minecraft before.

You mentioned it in a reply but i would imagine the smelting process should soften/weaken the obsidian. That way the player has to forfeit a little security for style. Anyway, I totally support.

posted a message on Stone Tools that Actually Require Stone
I was almost willing to support but I want to see where the discussion was going in the comments. All I found was a closed minded Original Poster and a lot of people who don't like it and point out important flaws. There is no discussion on how to refine the idea to make it better, only "MY IDEA IN TEH GAME NOA". The logic in defense is also contradictory: When some one says that the idea is not necessary on the grounds that minecraft does not need to be realistic, the original poster shoots back that it should be realistic, but when someone complains that even the realistic aspect is stupid the original poster says that minecraft doesn't need to be realistic.

Instead of trying to defend your idea as the final stand, why not take them as suggestions and try to work your idea? Like why must the recipe by changed? Could the stone tools be reduced in strength (Like the swords kill slower or the pick breaks slower) or reduced in toughness (number of hits before it breaks)?

The way I see it, this only adds a mild inconvenience that does not fix the problem. People that are starting a game have to wait maybe one day at most to get their stone tools, at which point they will try to replace it with iron which lasts longer, is stronger and costs the same in coal. This gives stone the same problem that you say is wrong with wood, it is only used long enough to get the next thing. Like I said above, an edit to the properties of the tools themselves is more likely to fix the problem you are searching to fix.

I would support this if it is able to evolve and improve.

I like the idea but the one thing im not crazy about is that it stays with you post-death. I have no problem with an overpowered set of armor but its the fact that you can die and keep the armor that bothers me. There should be some responsibility with it. ANyway, like I said I love the idea and support it.

posted a message on Dispensers That Plant Seeds

Yes and while we're at it lets let the dispenser enchant its own weapons and armor and play minecraft for us. Because everything in Minecraft has to be at all costs completely automatic and powered by redstone.

Why not leave it up to the person whether they want to make it automatic or not? there is no "leaderboards" for minecraft... WHat you do in your SSP is yours to enjoy! Let someone else enjoy their map the way they want to.

As for the idea, it is one that has been suggested before; this is completely feasible and most likely already on its way. Support!

posted a message on Rare events! 105 supporters!
Support for most of them but they need more description. Like does one find a meteor or does the meteor actually crash into the ground? Does the blue moon have some affect like a peaceful night/ no mob spawning? (Also blue moon should be less common) But I love the ideas that could be pulled from this.

posted a message on The Seasonal Biome
I like the idea but something about how it changes seasons bugs me. The seasons would have to be drastic enough of a change to be noticeable without having to add too many items in. I think it should be optional though and it should have some benefit to living in it. I do like the suggestions for the spawn rate. I support it after it gets a little more definition to it.

posted a message on (Updated) Aesthetic Mob In The Snow Biomes [with concept art]
My only problem with it having no drop or affect on the world almost makes it a one time deal, or at least it would get old. I would want something that makes me excited every time I see it and would even drive me to find the nearest tundra biome every night to get its valuable It could not even drop something itself, rather it could point out the location of a valuable item. I do agree with you that having it freeze a frozen lake is silly. I just want it to mean something more than a pretty light show.

posted a message on The Giant
I posted about zombies getting hit by lightning to spawn it in only because of two reasons:
1.) Pigs get to turn into zombiepigmen and creepers into super charge creepers so zombies getting hit isn't totally uncalled for.
2.) It is an event random enough that it wouldnt happen too much that it would become an annoiance, a chore even. It has to be a special event.

After reading some posts I had the idea that maybe it is a rogue iron golem! If a person spawns in one iron golem they are likely to spawn in more and with that logic, if one was to go rogue then a fight between one and the rest is possible. It could be random like a lightning strike or a chance incorporated with the player killing one of their own golems. I figure this may work especially since the model you have here is close to the golems. This would also make sense since it doesn't really look like a beefed up zombie and I don't think it should either.

Anyway, I want to reiterate my huge support for this. i would love to see this implemented and it is so well thought out it deserves to be.
