You have to and he is wrong. You can always start with a clean install of minecraft by deleting the .minecraft folder and reinstalling.
Could you change the names to "Block of _____" like the vanilla blocks? Also, can you make the gold block texture like all the other metal block textures? And also, I think the star steel block might be a little too high rez. Also, the icons for the doors are 3d, while the vanilla ones are 2d.
I completely understand! But I'm still glad to give Idea's! Lets start with a new mob. The creeper chicken. Yup. It's a very light almost white green chicken that, you guessed it, EXPLODES! This explosion is unique! It does do damage, but only 2 1/2 hearts. What's unique is that it spawns 5 baby chickens! It drops chicken on death and gunpowder as well! You don't have to use it, but this is just an idea

The vensulium and peridot block textures are a bit wonky. Do you think maybe if you have time you could make them like Emerald blocks?
