This looks really cool, and I've got most of the features to work and am loving them. My only problem is shadows under trees and such still look really blocky. They cut off after one block. Shadows under blocks, as in a cave overhang, seem to work just fine, it's just the leaves. I've attached screenshots. Anybody have any ideas? I'd really like to get them to look smooth, since I love the rest of the features.
He said he has to do with the custom models. There's a version without them.
Actually, from what I saw in the mod spotlight, crafting tables, buttons, and pressure plates ARE in there for the stone, as well as furnaces, but yeah, I would love to see it for the different types of wood used on tables, plates, trapdoors and buttons. Ladders, not so much, since they are built from sticks which don't save the wood type. Kind of hard to make different wood ladders, without changing the recipe entirely and using up way more wood than necessary.
Also, a suggestion for the mod: some way to change the stats on the obsidian sword. I have seen many mods that keep the obsidian sword the same damage as the diamond, which makes sense.
I was saying that it would be cool if this mod added different kinds of wood crafting tables, pressure plates, trapdoors, and buttons because It adds those things for stone.
The Diamond block is genius! Do you plan on adding any better destruction sounds? Darker, more realistic lava and clearer, brighter water would be cool.
I was thinking about a way to make "good" witches that could live inside a village, but I could not come up with an idea I liked.
This week I'm trying once again to break the hiatus, I had the Villager Tweaks enchanted golem update around 85% done, but currently I'm focused on updating my Redstone Jukebox mod.
Glad I could help your code, 90% of what I know, I learned reading other people's mods and tutorials, it's only fair that I share too.
It works on default ores as far as I can tell. It's necessary for some recipes on coal, and I've used it on iron and gold. The dust is needed for making alloys.
What version of Minecraft are you using anyways, 1.7.10, or 1.8? If it's 1.7.10, there are several other lag-reducing mods to use. My suggestion is combining Fastcraft and BetterFPS, which will probably you a bigger boost than Optifine anyways. You will lose the other additions from Optifine, such as extra view distance and such but at least you won't have to write this mod off because of an incompatibility.
1.8. I've tried fastcraft before, but I still got giant lag spikes. But I already have a pretty fast PC so they don't really help (They can do the opposite.) Minecraft is just optimized like crap.

Too bad this seems dead. And this guy seems inactive.

Too lazy to do the liquid textures?

Is this supposed to be the texture for the killer rabbit?

it possible to not have bird sounds at night?

Nice! The birch leaves are a little hard on the eyes, but other than that it's pretty awesome! One question, how do the bird sounds work?

How about wizards?

I mean like a diamond crack hammer.

Thank you! I've been using D3...

This REALLY needs to be compatible with optifine. Without optifine, the game lags the crap out.
