I've been using it myself and it does indeed contain ziplines. And the cloth sheet can hang from the ropes and be strung out just like them, which is something that obviously carpets can't do.
I came here about the Zipline mod actually. @GotoLink, if there's one thing I could ask for, it's the ability to have coloured cloth sheets (for each colour of wool), since aaaall the way back in Beta 1.7.3 I remember seeing that in the plans, and it of course is logical, but then the mod died before that being implemented. It would be amazing since then you'd be able to make shopfront canopies and pretty marquee roofs and lots of lovely stuff like that... I'd be very grateful indeed
The ziplines, rope arrows, and handles are not in the creative inventory, then.
Sorry, I assumed you were using either Tekkit, FTB, or Curse. So you're just making people download your mod folder? Either way you can still include the config in the download, I don't see what the problem is.
Yes, I'm "making" them because I don't know how to use FTB or Tekkit. And I am using curse.
The thing is, AdBlock removes support for every modder in the community. I've spent years working on and maintaining this mod, and if someone can't sit through a 5 second ad and simply just click the skip button, they have no appreciation. The fact your against mod reposts too, but suggesting to block support to modders even though it's the official download is contradicting.
Aren't there any safer alternatives? I feel you lashed out a bit though. He was just trying to help somebody out by preventing them from plaguing their computer with viruses. While your at it tweak the smeared textures.
We can appreciate your mod without wanting to download extra new surprises to our computers, y'know? Some Trojans exploit 0-day bugs in Flash or JavaScript to install themselves without anyone clicking on links, so the only safe way is to completely block script execution and ad display from suspect sites. AdFly and AdFocus are KNOWN to serve up malware now and then, so they are suspect sites. Blocking everything also keeps AdFly from working at all, half the time (and for some mods, like yours, all the time, I don't know why).
Why not host on CurseForge? So far, they seem to be pretty good about not serving up things that turn your computer into a botnet zombie.
It's not the community that is keeping mod authors tied down. It's actually a good portion of the modders themselves wanting to stay on 1.7.10. 99% of all features Mojang keeps adding to future updates. Can easily be backported to 1.7.10 by a mod. So a lot of people have been adamantly staying 1.7.10 because of this reason.
Prismarine temples: Easily added
Ender Dragon changes in 1.9: Hardcore Ender Expansion inspired that
New Dungeon in the end? A mod can do that easily and so much more.
New Enchanting Mechanic? Oh so the table uses Lapis now, big whoop
This mod takes the textures from your resourcepack so that you don'y need custom textures for it to look right. I have never noticed any smearing with or without a custom one.
Just look at the couch. I am not the first one to point out the smearing textures. Maybe the textures could be handled a bit better, like fences (which don't smear).
what do you mean by sneared and squashed? i don't see anything wrong with textures.
The textures for the couch and some of the other textures are smeared and squashed versions of vanilla textures. Like, the textures were put into an image editor and resized.
Yes, I've highly considered switching to Patreon. Maybe we'll see something in the future
*Ahem* The textures are smeared and squashed in a visibly ugly way. I'm telling you this in hopes that you will make the textures a bit more pleasant to look at.

It would be neat if you could walk on them. Not trying to be rude.

Oof, I don't like duplicate blocks. It get's confusing in creative.

XD Well put

They're just trying to be helpful.

The problem is, mods like et futurum only backport the blocks. I see you aren't a big fan of the 1.8 doors and fences.

In zombie awareness, I don't shed blood. That or I can't see it.

This is a bit wonky. The block doesn't have any durability per se. You just sortah break it. This can lead to some accidents.

Yeah that isn't an airship though
