OMG, This mod looks amazing, is it alright, if i do a Mod Spotlight for you?

This mod is a mod that has to be Showcased!

For your first mod, this is a very good one at that, the textures look amazing and the fact you can "wash it off" with some water is even better!

Downloading right now, you sir deserve :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond:

I have no clue what a Mod Spotlight means, but sure. Also the textures were whipped up by my partner who wanted a mod like this, I'm not much of a graphical guy but I strung together the code which uses them. And thanks for the support ^^

The Dyeable Swords mod is an aesthetics mod to brighten up, or darken, any of the vanilla swords. Giving them a new look with just the combination of a dye, just like you would on a piece of wool or leather armor. Each dyed sword works just like a normal sword just with a change of colour. If you don't like the colour of your sword just wash it off with a bucket of water and try again.

This is my first mod, and my first go at using java. It is quite possible I might add the ability to dye other tools as well.

    Download v1.1 for Minecraft 1.5.2: http://adf.ly/OmUvv

    Installation
    Singleplayer
    • Make sure you have Forge for 1.5.1 installed, which can be found here: http://www.minecraft...hp?action=files
    • Navigate to AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods, if the folder doesn't exist, create it.
    • Paste/move the downloaded .zip file into the mods folder.
    • Run Minecraft and enjoy.
    Multiplayer
    • Install the mod in your client like you would for singleplayer.
    • Make sure Forge Universal is installed on your server, details on how to do that here: http://www.minecraft...ation/Universal
    • Run the server with forge installed at least once, or make a 'mods' folder in the same folder your minecraft_server.jar is located.
    • While the server is stopped, place the downloaded .zip file into the mods folder on the server.
    • Start the server, and make sure all players have the mod installed as well.
    • Join the server and enjoy.
