Seeing this makes me think i should make a post of my own.

Its been a few months since I've actively played Minecraft and frankly I've been enjoying myself more, but there will always be things I will remember. I owe so much to Lockdown. I will always remember the friends I made on this server, the times I stayed up all night just to make guard hours. The hours of talking to people in skype and teamspeak. I will even miss the constant drama of the server and its problems with others.

Lockdown was my home for over 2 years and its changed so much. I can still remember when i first logged onto the server from citibuild, back when it was popular, and not having a clue what was going on. At that point I had just started playing Minecraft and I had only been playing on servers for 2 days. When I first came in I went to the staff room and saw the NPCs with the admin skins and i thought they were actual staff so I publicly thanked them in chat and when I took the tour guide with the private text and the NPC MSV I thought it was the coolest thing that the actual owner of this awesome place was touring me, of all people, around.

I've grown so much from then. I made friends. I made enemies. I even made friends out of my enemies, Shocknate :wub:. I will continue to grow but I think I will do it without the help from Lockdown from now own. This has been a great 2 years, and I thank you so much for that.

Do not think this is a permanent goodbye (seeing how doodle is my cousin she will probably drag me back on at some point.) But this is an end to an era for me, and I will truly miss it.

To all my friends, my skype is always open and I finally have a Steam account that I might use (my account name is 3632, feel free to friend me.) I will miss you all.

This guy, this freaking guy. I've been guard before, i looked up to the guy. He was a legend. Out of all the current applicants i think hamster deserves this the most, he has been loyal (even if he has been banned a few times), loved and respected by almost all of the admins and staff, and seriously dominates at pvp. Hamster it would be awesome to have you back at guard. #Hamster4Guard2014

lions can send an invite once and it can spam you. the invite will not actually go away until you officially decline it in the clan command. otherwise 20 seconds or so it sends another message

riperino Lockdown. I have tons of good times from this server, it got me through a lot in my life. I know it sounds silly but it really did affect me as a person. Watching it develop over time, all the people I got to meet, the things I've learned, the memories are unbeatable. I can't take back all the bad stuff I did but that doesn't mean I don't still love you Lockdown~ I don't know what I would've done without this server. Goodbye, and I hope Nyxcraft works out~ <3

As I still hold place #1 on ontime top, I guess I should make a post. Mine isn't really a goodbye one, as if I ever see a couple people online, I'll sure as hell go on. Until then, quiet chats sort-of depress me, so I won't really be on. LDP has gotten me a lot of great friends, which I am thankful for. Sorry to the people who remember nubby-kid-using-brother's-account-with-his-skin me. I was annoying for the first half of my LDP experience, so thanks to those of you who would put up with me (and those who still continue to). If we ever become active again, tell Katt to pass the message along to me, as I'm very inactive on the forums and it was a stroke of luck that I remembered the login details to this.



So thanks to the mods who would continually warn me as a nub, with me avoiding mutes until the later half.

Thanks to the guards I would hide behind when we had that little bottleneck entrance to PVP.

Thanks to the admins who were forced to put up with me.

Thanks to MsV (and later on Jookes) for running a great server.

Thanks to the community for, most of the time, being amazing.

Well, thank you everyone for all the great things you've brought to me on Lockdown Prison. It all started with me joining and Doom taking me in and helping me through the several ranks. Hard to believe, but at one point, I was a higher rank than sammy. It's been a long time with all you fellow prisoners on Lockdown Prison, and I'll miss every single one of you. I'd also like to thank MsV for all the hard work she put into everything, creating a phenomenal server for all of us, helping us with everything, and supplying our needs of block parties and events. Most of my greatest friends on Minecraft have come from Lockdown, and I don't want to ignore you guys. I'll be active on Skype, so just send me a message. Doodle is right about people saying you aren't able to make friends over the Internet, but I have certainly made friends on Lockdown from all around the world. The one who's helped me through everything though, letting me organize his cell, and become a leader of Chip is aljen.

Aljencreater: Where do I start alj, we've been friends for a long time now. Well, I remember when I first invited you to Elite after you resigned from guard. Then there was the cell, and you trusted me with it. You definitely got to leader pretty quickly in Elite, and then got guard again. Although, you being guard, and me trolling around with you were my best times on LDP. you also helped me realize I was terrible at PvP (getting better), I was just used to the lag in courtyard. Our beast grinder got us so many sets of armor and we eventually earned about 9 sets of donor armor together. Then the rest came, and I was highly against it, but we survived together, even if I'm not the highest ranked player now. Thanks for everything alj. I'll miss playing Lockdown Prison with you. (I'll talk on Skype ;))

Iwantmedalssmp: I know you didn't stay and play on Lockdown Prison for long, but you were certainly the best businessman I've ever met on any server. From getting money in no time, (which literally had the admins ban you for duping), to helping me rank up. After the reset, we both had a ton amount of money, and it was hard to convince the wardens to give it back. You also showed me the many designs and best ways to make a grinder. Without you, al and I wouldn't have had so much armor. Thanks for everything iwant.

Doomboombar: Doom, you've started it from the beginning. We created several clans, **** talked big clans like wTuC and Ninja, and continue to this day, mess around and help each other out. Thanks for taking me in at the beginning, it meant a lot. #God #SnowPlots

gift4mybro: We joined at the same time. We helped each other rank up. We have a lot in common. We have been friends for a long time. I'll miss being at your side gift.

MsVerita: Thank you for starting up such a great portion of my life. Without you, I would've never made as many friends as I've made now. you put extremely hard work into everything about LDP, and I'll congratulate you on making Lockdown my #1 server in all of Minecraft. Thanks MsV.

ShockNate: Well, we started as pals and you were there for me at most times. Not wanting to end on a bad note, thanks for some fun times together.

Swe776: Swe, thanks for all the good times together. It started with us getting married on LDP and playing on that faction server with the gigantic nether wart farm. Sadly, then our love for each other ended, not for long though. I had your bones for the longest time, kept them in my potato factory. Then, it all ended with you helping me get to the highest rank, with sending me over 20 million in game cash. Have fun in life and keep it real mate, **** that's not Swedish.

Well, this officially announces my departure from Lockdown. Once again, thank you to everyone who helped me with anything on Lockdown Prison. I don't think I'll ever forget anyone from the community, even if we had disputes at unnecessary times. If I hadn't mentioned you, don't take that as a bad thing. I love each and every one of you. Stay classy Lockdown prisoners. Maybe we'll all be reintroduced to the server some day. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I figured I should make a post, even though this is not necessarily goodbye from me,

I myself haven't been playing minecraft and video games in general very often these days. I have started to focus more on music and school. I have to admit that maybe I didn't do as well as I could in school during the high time of Lockdown, but I think it was worth it.

Lockdown has been amazing for me. It has truly changed my life. Hehe, I remember my first day on the server as well. It was my first server and first day of Minecraft. I was such a nub, but I have grown so much since then.

I remember countless nights of me staying up till the wee hours of the morning playing my favorite server. I also remember me wriggling in my chair all day at school, so excited to come home and play Lockdown. Lockdown Prison was the only server I have ever gotten so attached to.

I like to say I grew up here because Lockdown has taught me so much. I made amazing friends here and I am so thankful to have been a part of this community. I can not thank MsVerita and the community as a whole enough for Lockdown.

I will never forget Lockdown and the people that were part of it.

Why should we pick you: You should pick me for me because I have been a guard before on lockdown over a year ago So i have experience as staff on lockdown, On other servers I have Been a Staff many times So i'm used to the background of being in a role of responsibility and trust. Now In lockdown I have been in the environment of prison servers for quiet some time So i know how to deal with people In a position of a guard i know what to in a any situation that is under my power to control If i cannot control the situation I will pass it on to my Upper Guard/and or Administrators, With things like Trolls Trying to get reactions out of me/ others i will simply Pay not attention unless it gets to the point where it becomes harassment i will hand it up to someone that can handle it. Another reason of why i am a perfect candidate for the guard position is because I am a nice guy I like to talk and have fun with other players I know the difference between A joke and (cant think of the word lol) not a joke and will handle the problem accordingly. Almost finally, I am a great pvper i almost never lose in pvp and as a guard thats a valuable thing You cant be a bad pvper and be a guard it just isnt compatible. Lastly i am loyal/Responsible I would never do anything to make you no longer trust me think i will back stab you harm you anything that you you put me up too you can count on me to get it done or (metaphorically) die trying You can trust that i will not give out guard kits or abuse, pvp for no reason, anything of that nature (I hope you read through that all )

What makes you different than other applicants? I am creative and fun, Story time! so a long time ago there was two animals that were friends a hedgehog and a hamster They were very good friends they both lived in the forest and in the same hole! So one night i was raining and a panda came by and offered them a shelter in the tree that the panda lived in they thought about it and graciously accepted the offer, On the way to the tree the panda realized she was hungry she thought hmm a hamster and a hedgehog that might be good but the hedgehog could be spikey, So she decided to try to talk the BEAR whos name was GUMMY. But he didnt have any food while the panda was going to meet the hamster and the hedgehog at the tree once there the 2 animals asked the panda "whats your name"? The panda replied " Ashley". The hamster and the hedgehog looked at the panda and said thats a peculiar name for a panda but they wernt interested in that they wanted shelter so they went in the tree and went to sleep, while they were sleeping Ashley was still hungry and decided she couldn't wait any longer and went to go eat them as she approached them she stepped ona twig and woke them up, right after the hamster and hedgehog fell down off the tree and merged together to make HAMSTERHEDGEHOG!!!! Seeing this ashley was disappointed this wouldnt be enough to feed her so she went on to get food that gummy had just scavenged and went on her way and hamsterhedgehog decided it would be ok to be a mutant now and lived for around 1 month. ( because well thats a bad thing if you get smashed together with something else XD ) Anyhow thats the end i hope you enjoyed the story and get all the references I hope you read and enjoy my app Have a great day
