5) Any experience with the prison genre? Yes I have played Weircraft, and Furnace, +Killion(Killion just plain sucked.)

7) Why are you the best choice for guard?I am the best choice for guard for various reasons. I will patrol the C-Prison helping the helpless Noobs as they get murdered by Free players. I will never get banned, promise. I will be loyal to all the Wardens, Alphas, etc. I am not he best PvPer, but I can adapt usually. I use correct grammar , most of the time, and that makes it easier for prisoners to understand me. When I ask for prisoners to hand over swords, I won't say "Sword, 5,4,3,2,1"Because the prisoner will have no clue whom I am talking to. Jail is not to be abused. Jailing players is serious stuff. It is not to be used every second for scared Guards. The scared gaurds will probably just jail players when they panic and don't want to die.I will live by the guard rules on this server, no matter what. I have been hated by a lot of people on this server, and liked by another lot. I won't be an idiot and abuse my power of guard. (Example: I won't spawn guard gear and sell it by the load.) I have innovative ideas often, and am always plotting how to fix a problem. I have my own server using Hamachi, and I am 1/2 op on a different server, so I know how things work. I will fight for my life out there in the Convicted guard troops, and will always be loyal. Well I hope to help fight in the troops. Thanks.

When my application was first accepted, and I had first gained entrance into the wonderful world of guardsmanship, I had noted a severe lack of guards available. Often, there were no guards present in the C- block, and many complaints were voiced by a multitude of different people. Today, we see a problem quite the contrary. Many, many guards are often present. There are around sixty of us strong, and that number is fated to grow in the near future, yet crime is still omnipresent in the C- block. As time goes by, it becomes blatantly obvious that either guards are unable, or unwilling, to work. We have a deficiency, a liability, and I believe that it has caused our work to suffer harshly. I have compiled some suggestions, some ideas, if you will, to aide in the combat of this devastating problem.

The age-old argument. Better armor, better weapons, more food. This complaint has been refuted many times, and to many, it seems illogical. We are given fairly good iron armor, and the standard diamond sword, and more power seems overpower. However, I have witnessed a steep rise in the rate of civilians wearing iron armor, and carrying diamond swords. It demonstrates either a lack of guard ability, or a lack of protection and weaponry. As I have peered at the chat, I notice that many high ranking players, especially those of the free-elite spectrum, are selling armor and swords for unreasonably cheap prices. They are usually the same players that appear in the C foyer for the sole reason of molesting other weaker players, and much of the time, they are armored with superior, often enchanted diamond armor, and superior, enchanted diamond swords. It becomes clear that to combat power, you require power, too.

Secondly, I would either put a temporary halt on the recruitment of guards, or steep the guard requirements and regulations. Too many of us, and in this case, the more is not the merrier. There are many guards that are simply unfit for duty, and should never have received their rank. Higher qualifications should be required in order to ensure that every guard is of the highest quality, and applications should be thoroughly examined. Guards should also be judged more harshly, and punishments should be stricter when mistakes are made. If these are implemented, you will have a surplus of only the fittest guards.

Proper encouragement. Being a guard lacks rewards, and the lack of benefits causes a lack of work and dedication. There is no reward for guarding constantly, and in turn, the majority of people who have great potential either resign or cease guarding. There is no payment, and guarding yields very little behavior-points, as killing doesn't usually offer many items of quality, and if it did, guarding often blocks us from selling them. I know that we volunteered, and I understand that we weren't offered pay when we signed up. But I interrogate many of the people that resign, and they nearly always cite a lack of benefits or boredom as their reason for leaving. Either pay, special rewards, or events would cause a surge of work-ethic among the guards.

These are only a few suggestions to help improve guard efficiency. If any of these are implemented, it is my belief that you will have improved guards, improved game-play, and happier players. A simple change in philosophy, and you will receive guards that are proper, but not overpowered.
