I'll also probably get a lot of hate for this, but I actually agree with some of the stuff this guys saying. Much as Zelda is a good game, having a lot of lore and different characters doesn't necessarily mean better story telling, I prefer games if they don't have a tonne of lore, it makes the story harder to understand. That being said, the reason you think Zelda has a better story is because CoD doesn't use a story. It gives you a premise and lets you figure it out for yourself, which is equally effective if done right and more original than the standard scripted story. As for the arguments against the idea of terrorists/world war, these are things that are tied to the war FPS genre. You may as well say all Skyrim's story is; ZOMG Dragons!! When actually it's a lot more.
Also, the arguments about each Zelda game having different art; Zelda's been around for nearly 30 years, CoD's been around nearly 8. Obviously the Zelda games are going to look different each time. As for the arguments about each game in the Zelda series being totally different because the added new enemies/items/levels, they did the same with Halo 2, but it was still criticised for being to similar to the first.
Don't call me a dumb 10 year old CoD fanboy, I haven't played either game.

I agree about the community. One day I was at school and some idiot I'd never met comes up to me and asked what Halo Reach rank I am. I said Warrant Officer, he laughs. So then I say I stopped playing it after I'd finished the campaign and had what fun was to be had with offline multiplayer. So then he asks what else would I play, like was the only game in existence (this was late 2011). Some people are idiots.

Except recently (last 7 years) all their 'innovations' have been gimmicks. The Wii was only impressive at first because it was a novelty, it was new tech so everyone (except me) thought it looked cool. Then people got bored of it, now the only people who exclusively play the Wii are little kids and people who know nothing about the gaming industry.
Sony/Microsoft are best because the make what people want, their innovations are side things. I'm tired of Nintendo fanboys, thinking they're sophisticated because they play games out of the mainstream.

Also; every TES has to start in some form of prison (Morrowind started on a prison boat, Oblivion started in a dungeon, Skyrim started in a prison cart).

People who just prefer FPS games to RPGs. Some people just don't like them, so naturally they'l choose Cod. I can't even understand why these series are being compared, the only things they have in common is that they have similar abbreviations (CoD, LoZ)
CoD maybe, but no way is Halo overrated, it's one of the best FPSs out there. If you think it's overrated then you most certainly do mind FPSs (or you're just one of those idiots who just thinks they're sophisticated because they play games out of the mainstream).

Then let's do that. Bethesda could even set a new game in one of those continents, it doesn't have to stay in Tamriel. There are also other races in Tamriel, what about goblins, hist or dremora? Don't start some pointless argument about lore here, orcs were enemies in Arena but are now a playable race.
What about Black Marsh? Argonians (and Kajiit) seem like the forgotten races to me, so either Black Marsh or Elsweyr. As for mudcrabs, I don't really see what difference it makes, maybe that's because I'm not a long time player, I'm probably going to get Morrowind later this week so we'll see.
What I'd like to see is Tamriel getting better technology. Seriously, it makes no sense to me that it's been about 1,000 years since Arena and we're still in medieval times.

I know, so many of my friends watch them and talk about them, but I tried watching the 1st Shadow Of Israphel and my thoughts were something along these lines:
"Okay... Is this supposed to be funny?... Informative?... Exciting?... Creepy?... What am I supposed to be getting out of this?"
And I never went back. Apart from their mod spotlights they just seemed completely stupid (seriously, whenever I hear "diggy diggy hole" or see somewhen with a yogscast skin I want to get out a kinfe and stab someone, thats how much they and their fanbase annoy me).

Other stuff I particularly want to see are; aylieds, falmer, dwemer, dremora, daedra, dovhakiin, history before Oblivion, etc.
