Clearly the Minecraft world is unlike any other other multiplayer out there. I've requested my son to be added to individual hosting kid friendly games and have had no luck on XBOX One. Although my son plays multiplayer with random people online, I would prefer if he played with kids his age. Fortunately, he does not have a mic at the moment, so we haven't had to deal with players using colorful language. However, we are currently shopping for one.
I noticed some individuals posted here just recently looking for kid friendly games. I can certainly reach out to you via XBOX friend request or invite, I don't even know what it's called. If you receive my message and accept or reciprocate the invite our kids would be able to play together (if they are in the same time zone) in the generic worlds available on the Favorites version of MC. My son does not have any maps that he has created. He is more into the competitive aspect of the games and loves watching videos on youtube of Hunger Games (a type of minecraft mode not the movie).
Here is some other important information:
-My son is 8
-We currently do not have a mic
-We are in the US / New York EST
-He will play mostly on Fridays around dinner time and randomly on the weekends....rarely if at all during school nights.
-I will randomly monitor game play specially once he has a mic and will do my best to separate him from kids who use colorful language excessively. And I say excesively, because I realize a kid can slip up once or twice. I'm sure most of you would understand.
If you want you can also Send and Invite to us. My sons TAG is AdoringRat39244
If you reach out to us via XBOX invite feel free to email if you'd like. Or, if you have any suggestion for kid friendly games, I'm open for discussion. I'm pretty new to this world, but trying to figure it out.
