    When you say "sound" do you mean low health sound? If so, can the sound be changed easily? Another question... is there a way to change when the red starts to appear? as in if i want it to appear when i'm at a lesser health than the default health set can i do that?

    I don't manage to save the player's state between 2 worlds...

    For exemple, when you die, you turn into a ghost (that's normal ^^), but if you quit the world and join it again, your "ghost state" won't be saved. That's a big issue, because player are able to "cheat" their ghost state by disconnect & reconnect :/

    I'm working on it, but it's pretty difficult, so if there's is a modder here, maybe he could help ?

    would it fix if it was set as a different game mode? Like you have crea, surv, and spec but just add ghost? I know game modes save after you disconnect, so just a thought. I could see the gravestone acting like a '/gamemode 0' type command block if that's a possible solution

    The deaththing has been suggested in quite an other form:
    Lets say if you kill a pig, it spawns two blocks of 'pork' (not actual pork, but just calling that) like that is the pig. If I could get someone that could make 2 models for every mob(except chickens & bad mobs)the block will get the right model for the mob.
    Then if those lay on the ground, you need a knife(to cut through the hide) to get to the flesh. Then the knife again and you get the pork, and then you can just right click to collect the bones.

    Yes, these will slowly 'rot' = dissapear(set to air).

    Perhaps if the gravestones spawned naturally in the world? So if you can't get to your body, and you haven't made a gravestone to place in / near your house yet, you can wander around until you find one? Finding random gravestones in the world wouldn't be too unrealistic, as long as it's balanced properly (finding one 10 blocks away from another would be pretty silly, but having them spawn too rarely would make the game too difficult).

    I've also been thinking about what happens to your body if you fall in lava. Finding and jumping back into your body in lava would just cause you to die again. Would you even be able to regenerate from the ashes, near the body of lava you died in, with all your items burnt to a crisp? Or would this be the one instance where you can't jump back into your body, and would have to find a gravestone in order to come back to life? Hmmm....

    Maybe there could be a way to make all the blocks you destroyed as a ghost come back when you return to your body? So maybe ghosts could break blocks instantly... but I could see people taking advantage of that to find underground structures. Maybe it can be made so you can only break blocks only within the chunk you died. And maybe to avoid the lava and such, perhaps when you get within the same chunk of where you died you could be able to spawn.. but only within a certain y-axis range.

    Just some ideas :)

    Of course you can walk toward your body to ressurect, but what else ? can you fight ? can you mine ? can you pick up items on the ground ? How long can you stay as a ghost ? ...?

    And when you die, do you want your body to lie on the ground, or a "gravestone" block to spawn ?

    I just want many details to make this mod as you want it


    EDIT: I've started the development, here is what i have done so far :

    when you die, you switch to adventure mode, and your screen become white.

    when you right click on the grave, you come back to survival, and your screen turn back to normal colors.
    the grave disappear, and smoke spawns.

    yay! Since I know what his answer will be (ive played WoW... and seen his response to PureCreativity's comment) the ghost is completely void to any interaction. You can't do anything except find your body (in fact, in WoW the only things you can do as a spirit is see the enemy around you and walk on water)
    You can go by my word or wait for his ;)

    EDIT: now that i think about it.. you might NEED to mine to get to a body if you're in a cave or something and you've blocked your path... soo.. wait for his word lol

    If the "blood" IS actually put into the mod, can you please make it toggle-able? And, on a related topic, I think it would be cool if the mobs don't actually dissipate after killed, but rather slowly decay into a harvest-able pile of bones (with exception to slimes, magma cubes, blazes, and maybe some other mobs). Skeletons wouldnt decay at all, tho... because they already are a pile of bones lol. I wouldn't expect the block to drop more than 3 bones. Maybe higher % of bone drop the bigger the mob is?

    I was also thinking that it would be pretty awesome if there was a special type of zombie that came out of the ground when you get within a certain perimeter of where it spawned... or all zombies.. but that could make things really difficult lol

    This sounds amazing! Though I'm very curious.. will you be changing the way dogs are tamed eventually? Because, lets be honest, giving a dog a few bones isn't very "advanced" lol. Perhaps make some sort of way to make yourself look more superior to the dog could be a way to tame it? As that is a priority in beginning to teach any dog IRL. Thoughts?

    This is true. It would only start a big fire in a VERY dry area.
    And that sounds good for the pine cones ;) I just know IRL pine nuts are "in season" around early fall, late summer so that why I suggested the weather thing... But I do suppose that you would need to get them from the pinecone and there is no harvesting date on those lol and I have no idea how something like that would be implemented into a mod.
    So just rename the oak tree then?

    Although, it is almost always easier to get iron armor instead of wool/leather

    I would say that the acorns could be used as some sort of projectile... like snowballs but they deal damage. When I was a kid I used to shoot acorns with a slingshot lol. IRL acorns can be cooked and used for food, also.
    I've seen a few temperature mods in the past, although none of them seemed to have had new armor like wool.

    also, if you could somehow tie the weather with the drops it would be cool if pinenuts were a drop from pine tree leaves in only moderately cold weather... and oak trees don't actually grow apples, they grow acorns. So maybe you could add an apple tree and replace the apple drops from oak trees with acorns? Just throwing some ideas out there (actually I have an entire thread about acorns and tamable squirrels but it didn't go anywhere so I thought I might as well suggest it considering there's no way im NOT gonna use this mod in the future lol)

    tis has already been suggested.... tho it was a while back. I can overview what the modders said who looked at the other similar suggestion for you. They said that it can be done but it would cause a lot of lag when near the portal and it would be really complicated to code and, overall, not worth it. Though since this was a while ago that I saw that, so things might be different. Hope I helped ;) (I thought this mod would have been cool too)
