    Hey, quick question: is there any way to downgrade versions? I downloaded 1.9.5, but a Mod that I want to run requires 1.8; is there a way to do this?

    I don't know but your 1.9 saves may work in 1.8... may. So long as everything is backed up you should be okay if those saves do not work in 1.8 (then you can keep them for when 1.9 is regular release and not pre- and this mod gets updated).

    This is for single player only... SMP is short for Survival MultiPlayer, which this mod doesn't support yet.

    Then is there any way to "downgrade"?

    Same problem with me. I'm pretty sure that you have to decompress the .jar file, using winzip or another file opener, but I haven't quite attempted that yet….
