I only made a few changes (mojang logo, splash.txt, etc.), but they won't show up. I'm getting that gray "texpak uknown" logo when I try to select it, and my changes aren't showing at all, instead loading the default pak.
I've tried using mcpatcher, but I can't seem to get that to work right (it fixed the other paks, but not this one).
Help?

Alright, just checking! :biggrin.gif:
BTW, I might be able to help with texturing, although I'm kinda new at it….

Also, a suggestion: why not give Nightwing his new red and black costume?

Yeah, buddy.

Are you the host?
If so:
…in which case there are plenty floating around the Seeds Forum.
I myself stumbled upon one that spawns you in a tundra biome that stretches for at least 1000 meters in each direction.
Good Luck! :biggrin.gif:

So, this should work?
This doesn't solve my problem.
At all.
Sure it fixes the texpack, but it doesn't restore the Default Pack. From what it looks like, it just keeps things the way they are, but makes things look nicer.
Any other suggestions?

Most of them worked fine, but a few of the texture pack's pictures (in the menu where you select you tp) where gray. The first one I tried (I think it was the Doll House tp (made everything look like it was drawn with a crayon)) loaded, but most of the blocks had bits of nether portal and fire in them. I tried a couple of others that were gray, and it loaded the Doll House one again! I tried the Default, to see if I could still run that.
Gone.
I'm stuck playing the working tps that I downloaded, but I would really like to get the default back….
I thought that it would go back to normal after I downloaded 1.0.0, but..nothing….
The corrupted tps are still in my trash bin, if that means anything.
Thanks!

Please read earlier posts before asking questions like these….
@Shellspeed1: Really? That's a shame…. Looking forward to this.

Where can I find this music disc?

That's not what I had in mind….
It's also very basic (only 8 lines), and none of the features that I explained above are included.
Thank you! :smile.gif:

I've long thought that it would be neat to be able to write messages to other players: not by talking or by posting on signs, but by leaving notes on sheets of paper. Players could right-click when holding a sheet, and it would bring up an in-game document which could be titled (so as to tell which notes are which) and written upon. When a player is done writing, simply right-click, and they will return to the game. All of the text would then be saved on the sheet of paper! :biggrin.gif:
The same could be done with books. This would allow for longer, multi-page documents, and would allow map/level makers to leave detailed, portable instructions in game, allowing much easier use. It would also allow people who have their own servers to have detailed rule and guideline books for their players.
As an added feature, text documents could be imported and exported, allowing players to transfer information outside the game environment, whether through email, facebook, or even the Minecraft forums. :smile.gif:
Now, if you're not totally convinced already, here are some more reasons why you should support these features:
-This allows for secret messages to be passed between players in game, without having to use outside messengers such as Skype.
-It opens up unique communication opportunities.
-Could be compatible with Minecraft.edu, allowing for students to complete and submit assignments in-game.
One last feature would be an upgrade to the bookshelf: where else would you store all of your documents? :biggrin.gif: This adds a brand new reason for players to add libraries to their homes!
With this update, Minecraft could also be used in business environments! Companies could have their own dedicated servers, where employees could process virtual documents and plans, and would allow them to interact with other employees from the comfort of their own desk, all the while interfacing using Minecraft's unique avatar skin system!
This idea is truly unique, and could revolutionize the way the game is played, opening up new doors for people everywhere! :smile.gif:
But what's next?
In-game Mailboxes and eMail! :wink.gif:
Thus making Minecraft the biggest social networking/interacting experience ever.
I rest my case. :smile.gif:
