I installed it via modloader, got the coins, but cannot get the gui to pop up with the villagers. Installed it into my minecraft.jar and got the gui working, but couldn't use it at all. Tried shift+clicking a stack of the coins, and it crashed minecraft.
I like the idea of this mod, and think it would be really useful and cool, especially if you update it for 1.2, when the villagers get their cool new upgrades officially. It would make villages such a cool place to be.
EDIT:
cool. does each villager have its own inventory? do for example blacksmiths and cooks have related items to what they do?
When I checked them out, they did all have their own job based inventories. Farmer, Butcher, Librarian, and Priest.
@1_Cavman - It looks like you are using v2.1.2 of the mods? The current release for Minecraft 1.0 is v2.2.0 That would definitely cause your problem.
It appears that I was. I had thought I downloaded the most recent version, but seems I had found an older link. Got the current version and everything works perfectly. :biggrin.gif:
Hello there. I was directed by the linked FAQ to post here should I get a crash from the mod(s).
I'm running on windows 7, with the most current Minecraft 1.0. I've only been messing around with mods as of the late, but I've gotten modloader to work, along with some others. I've not been able to get these two to work though, as it always black-screens after the Mojang splash page. I've stripped it down to just modloader, walled cities, and great wall, and it still does that.
So I got a simple error test.

Also if you could set up the mod to run like most other modloader mods, and not need to be installed into the jar, that'd be helpful.

Cool. Is the download link updated?

Not sure I'm getting what you are asking. What do I do exactly?
