8/10, I got the cookie one wrong (I haven't ever crafted them, so I didn't know how much one batch was), and I have no idea what the other one I got wrong was...
EDIT: I looked through the quiz again and I honestly thought it was tipped arrows that were PC craftable-only, not spectral. I thought this because I remember that you had to make them in a cauldron in PE, therefore not technically crafting them, and I'm not sure if they've added them to console or not, I don't remember seeing them when I updated my XB360 edition just to check out the tutorial and elytra.

Ug! I'm not playing MCPE anymore. PE redstone isn't even remotely close to how it works in PC. They need to recreate this bug in PE. There are sooo many redstone mechanics that don't work in PE. For instance, in PC if you run a wire right next to a piston it won't power it. In PE it connects to it directly. So annoying! There are many many other differences like this involving the comparator, piston, and hopper mostly.
They built MCPE from scratch, because mobile devices don't run Java, so they took this as an opportunity to build the game from scratch, in a fully optimised manner with no messy code, and it has to be as optimised as possible, because mobile devices don't have a lot of RAM, unlike most PCs.
They also decided to do redstone differently, so that it makes more sense. I mean, to the new players, quasi-connectivity is really weird and annoying, and besides, it was always a bug anyway.
For the differences in the redstone mechanics, why not? Why should the PE/Win10 devs follow exactly what the PC devs did years ago? Why can't they improve on the ideas that was written into the messy code of the Java version? -

Try using WASD or dragging the mouse. Dragging the mouse is much more natural and eaiser, and remember, it's still a youtube video, you can just skip back a bit. I was considering just re-watching it 4 times for each build, but I decided against it as I had seen enough by dragging my mouse. -

Interesting video, but isn't this topic old news? Also, he missed the End and the fact that the nether is actually the same size as the overworld, the 1/8th size is just an illusion created by the physics of nether portals and the roof, which is not actually at the height limit. Also, there is the fact that you can create as many worlds as you would like, thus the size of Minecraft should of been decieded by the number of seeds, or the number of possibilities for there to be blocks in the world, like for a custom map for example. And then theirs all the mods, creating a pretty much infinite version of Minecraft, since if you made a mod that gave a block for every single colour possible in the universe, you would have infinite blocks due to all the infinity shades of the basic colour.

Basically, you can use commands that makes it so when a player puts on armor, or holds an item, they will gain something like "+3 damage points" when they hit something or "-2 speed" or something like that. See the way it shows on the screenshot, "When on body, +6 armor"? that means basically that the armor is part of the player's code instead of the armor, the armor just adds value.

The zombie villagers look great, but he didn't show any new commands. He just showed us the new zombie skins, told us about a buff, found a glitch, and showed us a few new options on a command block. Not worth my time; I only watched the video because I know nothing about new commands, and HE didn't either!

It bothers me that everyone is saying "Oh I wonder what they will do!" because I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that colored command blocks were just for organization reasons. Or maybe that was just a suggestion I saw on the forums...?
And besides, what else could a command block do!? They run commands. Period.

Big one
ruined the secret Lol
Today, Searge tweeted out a spoiler pic of something likely coming up in the next snapshot! At a glance, it appears to be two different kinds of command block from the standard one, with each of the new blocks having a different color from the original.
A reliable, yet unnamed source has confirmed only this:
- these new command blocks come in these three colors (no more, no less)
- they do not operate the same as one-another.
What could they do? Is it possible they each use a specialized set of logic? Do they interact in specific or unique ways? Minecrafters have already come up with a host of theories on the subject, but only time will tell! For now, just know that this is a secret, and you cannot share it with anyone! You were never here! You never saw this!
I just copy-and-pasted into notepad

I quite like the idea of sitting in a chair to skip to night.
Also, I don't like the idea of a cobblestone chair. It sounds both extremely uncomfortable and looks extremely fragile.

On a server that I play on often, I keep on managing to accidentally typing /ci. /ci is short for clear inventory, so obviously I want to stop doing this.
So what I want is a mod that intercepts what I'm sending to the server from the chat bar, and disallows the client from sending certain commands. I would preferably have it be a forge mod, but a liteloader mod would be good as well.

That is so cool seeing the progress of a mountain being slowly turned into a fortress over the ages. It looks as if the world has hundreds of years of history, like I can just image an army attacking it, destroying it, and then ages later another group seeing the perfect defensive area, and completely renovating it, at then the cycle repeating over a long period of time.
Also that's an amazing idea turning a chunk error into a build!

Nice to see this still being updated. That rail tunnel looks awesome!

As far as I can tell, you should be able to just use that skin just fine. Or any PC skin, actually. Though here is a version that should definitely work:

Awesome to see progress on this world continue

Kill skeleton for bones -> bone-meal grass -> punch the tall grass to get wheat seeds as normal

The only way to get back without dying is though a portal, or cheating. Have you had a good look around the surrounding area? The portal might've spawned somewhere else due to a bug. Otherwise, put your stuff in a chest (you can find one at a nether fortress if you have no wood), and find a cliff.
And please, you really did not need that many exclamation points, it really does not add anything, and just makes you look silly.

I think that's the icon for the game window; it appears in the top-left corner and in the taskbar, like every other application. It also appears in multitasking, on windows anyway. (when you press ALT+TAB or WINDOWS KEY+TAB)

If you make the black wool far away from where the map is being viewed from, it won't update. A way around this could be to create a map of a far away place that you never visit and make the black map there.

I think the most useless mob in the game would have to be the Giant.
They cannot spawn, due to the spawning code having contradicting numbers, and even if you do spawn them they don't do much. They have a terrible hitbox and you die if you stand near their feet. They don't have any loot, and they're only real use is to make them hold items with command blocks, which they then turn massive, however they just sway the item back and forth quite a lot! It's terrible!

Mobs thing trapdoors are a full block, even when opened, thus allowing them to walk onto one with AI. This can be exploited to make them walk into a hole with their own AI. Of course, trapdoors require wood, however there are also iron trap doors! To make a monster farm, you could make them think that they have a valid path towards you, but make part of this part out of open trapdoors. To avoid being in danger, you could also block their progress with carpets.

Awesome progress when I was away, I feel saying great job would be understatement! Also, I like how you're using the grass paths!

Because Endstone and End Stone Bricks are so hard to make look good in buildings, I was wondering if anyone has actually done anything decent-looking using Endstone (or -Bricks)??

Optifine can change the way the lighting engine works. How are we supposed to know that this happens without shaders if you are using a mod that adds support for shaders? And how are we supposed to know that you don't have another mod, as your version is listed as "forge-...". You could've easily replicated this in a vanilla world. Also, you said "but this was completely vanilla..." well, having a mod loader and multiple mods and a texture pack is about as far from vanilla Minecraft as you can get!
