Maybe Misa changed the biome colors a bit, so editing terrain.png woudn't do anything. Move to the misc folder instead and compare gravelcolor.png and sandcolor.png of 414 and 415. If there are any differences, just copy the old files into the actiual pack, then it should look like 414 again !

Ah, thanks Zombie. I'll try that. I bet that's what it is. I've tried and tried my hand at creating my own texture packs and I just don't have the knack for it.... They come out so so... I just simply don't have the talent that people like Misa do....
*runs off to look at the sand and gravelcolor files*

So I'm perplexed.... I've bounced between version 414 and 415... And I've noticed something.
To me, Gravel and Sand look a bit different. Even Stone. Yet when I open the terrain file in Photo shop they appear to be the same (Well at least gravel and Sand do)
I even copied the sand and gravel from 414 to the 415 terrain file, JUST to be sure) and it made no change. When I'm in game, they DEFINITELY look different to me..... Anyone have any ideas as to why this could be? I like the way they look in 414 better. :(

You didn't need to look through 273 pages, the answer is in the detailed FAQ in the very first post of the thread =P Here's the excerpt:

"Q: Will you make the pack resolution higher than 64x64?
A: Not with the pack in its current state. Possibly when mipmaps are adequately supported by the game. As it is though, my attempts at this have produced undesirable results. Namely HORRIBLY grainy distant textures and atrocious performance issues with the shader maps. "

Meh...I feel silly... I've looked at her post dozens of times, downloaded this pack at least 2 dozen times.. Can't believe I overlooked that in the FAQ. Thanks for pointing that out. :)

Hey Misa, I'm not sure if you've been asked this or not... (273 pages is a lot to sift through) I've been using your texture pack for AGES. I've tried a lot of others, but I always end up running back to yours. :)
I'm curious if you've thought about amping it up a little and taking to a 128X pack and getting even more detail out of it? Your pack always looks fantastic, of course. I'm just curious if you've thought about taking it to the next level. :)

As many of you have noticed over the last day or two, we have had periodic crashes of thunder here and there without any rain and such. Please ignore these. We've been tinkering with a few weather plugins, and unfortunately these are playing havoc on a couple other plugins.
So far, this has not caused any bad issues. The issues that we have noticed are:
Random crashes of thunder here and there
People not showing up on the player list, even when they're online
People showing up on the player list, when they're not online.

We're hoping to have this ironed out within the next day or so. In the meantime, please bear with us and we hope the mean scary thunder doesn't frighten you too badly. :)

I miss you Bris... Come back soon. :( I've started my castle over. I went with a more classic design. I also got a lot done clearing my claim out. :)

For those having issues logging into the game, if you know how to back up your .minecraft folder (To protect any settings and mods you might have) do so.
    Then go to www.minecraft.net/play
Log in using your Minecraft account. You can then play the game through the browser, and even connect to the server. It DOES work, but it's default everything.

LogBlock has always worked for me- just get a database at freemysql.net and... well... Setup LogBlock using the instructions.

Hmm..LogBlock is more outdated than Hawkeye...
Thanks for the replies fellas (Or ladies, whichever the case may be).
    I guess the search continues...
One of these days perhaps I'll learn to mod and write my own...

Geez, Have I been gone for quite a long time, I see the server is still in a normal map, hehe.

I'm not sure how many pages of this forum has been added since I forgot to look, but I'm assuming that I was AFK for a considerable amount of time, enough to get de-buildified or whatever you would call it; I've been playing a number of good games in the mean time (Tekkit with friends, Skyrim with mods, tf2, Tribes, Dwarf Fortress to name a few..).

New name too I see, I like it. Hows the map working out?

That's about it for now, just thought I might check and see how astoundingly awesome the server has gotten.

    Edit--

This post put me at the 42 postings thing, must mean I'm the meaning of everything now.

Nax, You should probably go re-read the original post, then head over to Multifarious.org to get up to speed. :)

Hey gang. I've updated the land claims page with a new map of the area surrounding the capital city with a grid of the personal claims. It's not as detailed and pretty as the old political map that everyone's used to from Sky Treasure but this one will be a little easier to maintain and update as well as a little easier to read. Head over to the website and check it out. You'll find a link to the new map under the Land Claims page. :)

As many of you are likely aware, Hawkeye is becoming outdated. I think someone picked it up and made an "unofficial" update to it like 2 months ago, but that's the last anything's been said about it.
Has anyone seen a suitable replacement for Hawkeye?
I've read up on a few but nothing seems to suit what we want for our server.
We want the logging ability of smacking something with a stick and getting a history on things and also having the rollback ability if needed.
    Anyone have any ideas?

The bizarre thing is, I stored everything in two double-chests, but they barely took anything. I lost maybe a stack of iron out of three, none of my gold (that I noticed) and only about half of my clay. The biggest loss was a diamond that was a gift from sely.

They also used all my farms, but re-planted about two thirds (but stamped all over my frickin melon stems) with fresh seeds. Highly peculiar.

Hrrm... That is odd... Time to encase in obsidian?

I know, Figgy. I accepted the risks. I'm surprised they found my chests though. Plus, I like being dramatic and swearing vengeance. :P

Some people are thorough. Did you hide them well? I tend to hide things "in plain sight", leave a few things I'm willing to lose, then hide the real loot really well in places they wouldn't think to look. That way they get a little haul then hopefully think they cleaned me out and stop looking. :)
