Just a heads up, we're aware there are issues with the rail system. We're having to redesign and retro fit back to vanilla due to the plugin we were going to use breaking.
I'm away for the rest of the week on an impromptu vacation, but will be back this weekend and will continue the retrofit. If anyone's looking for work, let me know via PM on the website. LOTS to re-build.

On a side note, the purpose of a silent auction is to not be able to see the other bids. This gives a little more chance in the game. Bid too low and you won't win. Bid too high and you may over pay.
For example: Say your bid is 10,000 monies. Another person bids 12,000 and I bid 25,000. I could have won with 12,001 but since I don't know anyone else's bids, I just WAY over paid. So good luck everyone.

I wanted to let everyone know of an exciting, albeit possibly a TAD bit inconvenient for claim owners.
Work on the subway is going to resume soon. It had resumed last night, but a snag in a plugin we're trying to use has put us back on hold. HOWEVER, this doesn't change the other issue we have.
Once the subway/rail system is complete, it will give people a slightly easier way to get out into the wild, instead of having to run through peoples' claims and through massive reserve areas.
Unfortunately, in order to accomplish this, we will need to run railways through some personal claims. In order to have the least amount of impact on personal claims we're doing two things: 1. We're building the railway about 10 blocks below ceiling, around 246 blocks up. 2. We're compensating anyone who owns a claim with a railway going through it with 5,000 monies. This basically works out to 1/4 of the purchase price of most claims.
But don't panic. If a railway is planned for your claim, we'll contact you first and make sure you're ok with it. If you just absolutely do NOT want the railway going through your claim, we'll work around you and give the money to someone else.

Additionally, I'm funding the project myself. While in the short term this isn't a big deal, as the railway grows, so will the expense. Therefore, I've set up a hopper in the main station across from the bank to accept donations. Any building materials (Except cobble) as well as currency (i.e. Diamonds, Iron, Gold and Coal) to fund payroll, as well as rails, redstone and redstone items are MORE than welcome. And thank you in advance if you're able to donate.

I've been trying to find a decent way to display a current player list on our Wordpress Website, but I keep running into walls.
After updating Wordpress, our previous "Status Checker" broke. Through some tinkering, I was able to re-code it to get it working again. However, I've still not been able to find a good plugin or php snippet to display actual players who are online. I don't need the fancy Avatar display or anything. I just need some PHP coding to throw into a PHP widget on the sidebar that'll show who's currently online. Does anyone have anything like this currently working on their server? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I've been using Misa's for almost 2 years now. I've tried many other texture packs, but ALWAYS come back to Misa's.... I hope she comes back soon. I would say I hope she lets someone carry on her work, but no one could fill her shoes IMHO. Hope things work out soon Misa. We miss you.

We've had a bit of a trend picking up lately. People logging on "Just to see who's online". Well, this will no longer be necessary. (And we're trying to discourage this) So I've added a little tool to the website. You'll notice in the menu to the right a link that says "Who's Online!". Click that link, and it will take you to a page where you can view in real time who's on the server. So please refrain from popping on "Just to see who's online." I worked on getting this little addition working for a couple of hours, working out bugs and such, so I'd like people to use it. If you have any issues with it, let me know.

The Glass House (Located next door to The Figgy Depot, which is located beneath the 2 giant pickaxes) is having a Grand Opening sale! ALL stained glass is now only 25 monies PER STACK!
