I have some ideas for ways to upgrade the Boat, in a similar vein to the Chest Boat
Submersible
The submersible is a simple upgrade that is crafted from two boats and wax. It has the appearance of two boats stuck together by their rims, with a pair of oars sticking out somewhere in the lower part. This boat only accepts one entity, but it has the advantage of being able to dive into bodies of water and move about much quicker than swimming. It unfortunately doesn't provide any extra air
Ender Boat
The ender boat is crafted like a boat, but with purpur blocks in place of wood, an eye of ender in the center, and 3 shulker shells in the remaining row. This recipe reflects its appearance as a purple boat covered by a shulker-shell, with a seat and base like an eye of ender. This boat is designed to be used in the end, and as such has the ability to slowly float along when it is directly over the void. This allows the player to go between end islands easily
Railboat
The railboat is a simple and potentially silly idea: It is crafted with a minecart and a boat. This combination, obviously enough, can work as both a minecart or a boat

?????????????????
LOL what? That's like a skateboarder saying, "check out this omnipotent kickflip!!" I'm pretty sure the term anti-climactic isn't meant to be used like that. This mechanic was planned to be in the game at some point, but was reasonably scrapped.
Because that would be horribly overpowered. There's a reason why potions don't stack, even if they are the exact same type. Potions can be extremely powerful and can really turn the tide in most situations, especially when you mix a bunch of them and are able to make yourself a speeding tank with night vision and immunity to all fire.
Having one strength potion can potentially be enough to make you all beefed up. But walking around with a Strength + Fire Resistance + Regeneration + Water Breathing + Night Vision would be enough to despawn all mobs in the game out of sheer fear. Even with the 20 seconds thing, the possibility of being overpowered is still there.

Mojang isn't gonna see this. They don't come to this forum.
"Much more better"? Yeeeahhhh... I have no idea what you're even suggesting here because of how ambiguous and non-detailed this is.
Why do we need that?
So basically just buff the distance of arrows? This is probably the only part of the idea I might support. Though it sounds better as/in an enchantment.
Probably, as you hardly described anything beyond those ambiguous sentences for each idea.

Okay yeeeeaaahhh that's a weird comparison - at least in a video game sense. People don't exactly walk into a bar and order a single malt poison with no ice. Poison is even very common in some kids'/family games (Pokémon being a good example), as the concept of poison can be greatly simplified as just "a thing that lowers health over time".
Even if wine wasn't an alcoholic drink, it wouldn't serve much use in the game anyway.

Yeah... "Terrible" is a bit much. Terrible would describe a thread about He- *dry heave* Herobrine, "nuke arrows" or "tHirSt baRzzzzz".
This idea is simply... not particularly necessary.

Mojang is not gonna add an alcoholic drink to a game that millions of kids play. Unless grapes give something unique (which isn't wine), I don't see the reason to spend the energy to add it.

Then what about the desert thing? The issue of taking off your armor and not moving too fast to avoid heating up is gonna annoy people to death, even literally. Especially if you happen to spawn in a huge desert.
Also, the point of your idea is to make a too easy game less easy, right? What's stopping people from just avoiding these biomes altogether, so they don't have to deal with the temperature mechanic? Aside from slinking in and getting some quick resources, that is. These biomes don't spawn at all/barely at all for some seeds, so they won't be experienced anyway.

That's... actually a pretty neat idea. I thought this was gonna be a "more tools and armor guyzzzz!!" thread, like most threads here.

This idea has been rejected for years. No one wants their favorite biome to start trolling them and deal damage. I was crossing my fingers and hoping this thread wouldn't be about taking damage from temperature.
Your thought process and approach to this is wrong wrong wrongedy wrong. This idea adds difficulty to the game but in an annoying, micromanage-y way. All this would do is take the fun out of biomes. I can't imagine a lot of people who love to set up homes in taiga biomes is gonna jump up in glee and go "Right on! =D" when reading this in the changelog: "Taiga biomes now require the player to stand near heat sources constantly to survive, otherwise the player will start taking damage."
Also, look at desert biomes in your example. So now players gotta keep moving slow and take off their armor just to get by? So if I wanna set up my home there I gotta keep my armor off to not heat up all the time? No one wants to keep making fire resist potions just to manage being in the desert. This idea subtracts more than it adds.
And sure, someone might argue that "This could be an option." but even then, I think if an idea is balanced enough, it doesn't need to be optional. And players would probably leave the option off anyway because - again - players are gonna have their favorite biomes be more difficult to exist in, just because Mojang decided "eh, let's make some biomes hurt you now."
Sorry, no support.

I'm gonna have to strongly agree with this one. I've wanted a command like that for a loooong time. I'm surprised someone hasn't thought of adding that to the game yet.
