Most of the ores you have there are pillow shaded. That means that the light source is hitting the block straight on. Try having the shading so that the light source is up and to the side. Here's an example of what I mean.
See how the highlights are up and to the left, and the lowlights are down and to the right? That's kind of what you want. The way you have it now, the highlights are in the center, with the lowlights surrounding them. This makes it seem like the light source is somewhere between the block and the viewer, which you don't want.
Otherwise, it's looking pretty good. Though I must say, the colors in the gold ore are fairly lackluster.

So more like this, then?

I think I have all of the shading issues taken care of, and I will probably have the emerald texture done tonight as well.
--
I wonder, should I fix the ores base shading, or is it good?
--
Today, I am going to finish the ores, and start on some other things, haven't really decided yet.

Alright, finished the Lapis Ore texture, and all of the wood plank textures.
Screenshots in a minute.
Just a small recommendation, I noticed how the gold ore is a brown color. Correct me if I'm wrong cause I am color blind but I think you should change it to a gold like thing, like take the colors of the default gold ore and use them on your texture pack. Other wise this is really great!

I had thought the same myself when I made the texture, I just fixed it.
This is a texture pack I just started working on, and wanted your opinions on the textures I have made so far.
What's done so far:
Grass (Top)
Dirt
Stone
Ores
Wood Planks
What's planned on next?
First, I plan on finishing the blocks, after which I will move on to the gui's, and finally the Items.
Next up will be: I don't know yet.

Thanks, that may be a while, though. xD

I've added a bit more detail to the grass, and I am working on the dirt, a few of the ores, and the grass side.
