It's in a mostly working and nice looking state so I figured I might as well upload it.
WIP means Work In Progress, basically unfinished.
What this pack mainly features is:
3d Rails, iron bars, bed legs, ladders
Some of the doors now have 3d windows
Oak and iron doors have enhanced textures
Updated golden apple texture
Clay is actually red
Improved gui icons
Some randomised textures - expecially bookcases!
Red rose, cyan rose, and single paeonia can sometimes appear in place of a poppy, blue orchid, or pink tulip respectively
Bottoms of inventory guis look like there is a hotbar there
Better stained clay textures - colors have less red in then
Random waterlilies. Also can rarely spawn with a flower, being white or cyan. Also they look like they are on top of the water, instead of floating above it.
Normal pumpkin has no face, it's only carved if you make it a jack-o-lantern
Other misc texture improvements
Probably a lot more I forgot to mention
Mcpatcher specific features:
Random mob support, that's all. You don't have to use mcpatcher to enjoy this.
What needs to be done to make it finished in my opinion:
3d turn rails
Finish making door windows 3d
Fix various model oddities
Implement the rest of the random block textures that's in the pack
More improved gui icons
Optimise every png Cry to daddy
Extras:
If you look in the folders you can find a folder called "unused" with textures of various things from old versions or other editions. Even from other games. They might see the light of day in the future but for now there is no good looking way to implement them by default.

FAQ:
Why does this topic's formatting look like crap?
Because I had to do this kinda quick and I'm basically just field testing this resource pack to see if people like it.
I know it's quite overdone, this started out as a personal texture pack but I found that making models with the new model system was easy, and as far as I know, no other "default improvement" pack makes heavy use of the model system.

Pictures should be in attachments
But nonetheless, you have the right to distribute your own.
Having them out does not make the ones out good, just out.
Alot that Iv'e seen are very bad when it comes to discretion in what should be modeled.
