At the current moment, it is only a format update. We are far behind updating fully to the new system. I just converted it and put up a link on the original post.
To be honest, we have A LOT of work to do before we can fully release it. It will more than likely be fully done in about a month :3

I would like to apply to the team, but the spoiler that shows seems to be broken at least on my side, does anyone know what it says?
I could help make the items since that is my strong point in texturing, and I could possibly help with blocks (But not much since I'm not that great at making them tile properly), I love this pack and would like to help however I can, heck I could make ctm and cit for the pack if wanted I retract the earlier statement since I can't use Skype on my computer

If you are a texturer, you must be able to texture in Santiago's style. If this is your choice, you must include a portfolio of any previous work that is relevant (Minecraft isn't the only thing you have done) if able to, and a few textures for any type of items or mobs that do not have a texture, along with in-game screenshots of these textures in action. Additionally, you must work together with other members to create the texture the team decides on.
You must be above the age of 14. (I do not care about how much you whine, unless your work is fantastic, you can not join the team. From my own experiences, most people below this age do not have the patience or the motivation to contribute to this project.This is a necessary precaution against those who will not help whatsoever and muck up everything.)
If you have all of these qualifications, please PM me your application. If you are approved, you can officially be part of the team for this project's continuation.
speaking of which, I sent in an application awhile ago to Pallas16, which was neither accepted nor rejected. Since then, StrikeSmash has upped the requirements a bit, which Im happy to comply with. I guess I'll re-send my application, this time to StrikeSmash

I would apply, but the Skype is definitely a deal breaker for me since I'm unable to use it D: , but I'll lurk here instead and watch this pack grow, and possibly after awhile release some cit for it to this thread for those who like to use mcpatcher.

A little info for the fans:
The team is currently working on textures for the Malfunctioning Attack Sentry (Blaze) and the viral gas explosive (splash potions) textures.
We will then move onto making a good fire and smoke texture. From there we plan on finishing up the enderman texture.
For mod support, the first mod we are going to make support for is the Better Grass and Leaves Mod.

Unless it is a grenade sentry I don't think the proposed blaze rod texture to work because remember the blaze dust is the grenade pin assembly. Also again what is the status of the TEiEV going to be?

About that carpet CTM; care to make use of CTM's original method so you can have the fancy gold on the edges, and not on EVERY SINGLE BLOCK EVER?

Sera, That is the plan.
TEiEV will be brought together with TEiEN and they shall work together to make a great pack.
We plan on making it so that somehow if a lot of wool is put together they will use TEiEV, but carpets will always turn on their TEiEV texture regardless of what block they are on.
ALSO SOMETHING IMPORTANT
We need someone on the team who is capable of making and using textures to allow for the use of CTM in the pack.

One what about the metals blocks from TEiEV? Second I will look into the ctm from other packs read the files then when I figure things out I'll post what needs to be typed in the files unless someone does it first.

We will try to keep as many textures the same as possible, but it may become necessary to edit some of the preexisting textures to fit in more with what we plan. For example, we plan on swapping the nether brick and nether quartz textures, to better show that the abandoned research centers in H.E.L.L. are actually ruined, and you can get some of the organic metal from the ground.DeWolf you have to be a part of the team for that
Also, we plan on altering the Iron Block so that its texture only shows if connected to another block.DeWolf as i said earlier we are going to use ctm so that we can fully combine both packs for the benefit of the player.

If you can learn how to do ctm, that is considered a way to bypass some of the qualifications, so long as you can do it effectively.
I thought I might put forward a suggestion that I made in the old pack:
Passive Mob Idea: Beast of Burden (Sheep)
The base texture of the animal is simply a goat, with the sheep's wool texture a color-coded "saddle-bag" style container. When sheared, appropriate wool (which are objects instead of wool, as per the core 'non-vanilla' pack) drops. That way, wool can be whatever you want it to be, and we won't have the oddity of shearing duct-work off of sheep.
