Hello, this is my texture pack. It's been a few months since I started working on it - it's going sl-ow-ly.
The concept itself - simplistic - is not very original, but I'm trying to bring the word "simplistic" to a new level.
I hope You enjoy it.
This is very nice. Your idea is, as you admit, not at all origonal, but the exicution is brilliant!
I think this would be great if you used Connected Texture Mod to remove the boarder between blocks like stone and dirt. The boarders look good on processed blocks, but the natural blocks look odd with such thick dark boarders, and using CTM would probably look great.

I'm trying to take another path than that of e.g. disco's [disco's ocd pack]. You know, he's made a super simplistic pack which is quite nice but he hasn't modified the items and tools at all. And that is one of the important aspects I'm going to do better - Yes, I'm adding al items and tools and weapons and armor and it's all going to be in the metrufu style.
As for the outlined natural blocks, I had a real brainstorm several times trying to decide whether to have the outlined blocks or not. For now I have them outlined. Maybe in the future I'll find a way how not to make the blocks look terrible when without the outline. You know it works perfectly with realistic textures but here I'd get continual light and dark stripes as the blocks are all designed like that and it'd look really weird. Anyway, if I find any workable way without black borders, I'll definitely lose them.
Thank you for your constructive comment!
Hahah well, not for everyone (: But your reaction actually brought me to thinking it's actually quite an original texture pack after all ^^ So thank you for that!
This is super sexy! But like everyone is saying , use CTM on natural blocks like grass, stone ,dirt ect.
Thank you guys! I will have to learn how to use CTM properly then. Nevertheless I'll be now focusing on other aspects of the pack. I'll just try something with the CTM thing but I'm afraid the pack will lose its basic idea of being outlined. Well, yeah it's true, the CTM function can be turned off too...
Anyway, thank you so much, it's so cool to hear you find it creative & sexy
I quite like this, reminds me of NES games in an odd way.
Haha yeah, you know I wanted Minecraft look really different. Realistic TP make MC look just better, but I wanted something like a different dimension so to say, be it a NES feel or something else. Some say it reminds them of Borderlands for example
Thank you for diamonding it on PMC!
This texture pack is like no other. It reminds me of OCD's pack but it's just so different. It's really cool and fun to use but wierd at the same time. Connected textures would be awesome and nice to use but for now this is just amazing. I always liked i guess you could say Cartoon or simple texture packs and this just takes it to a whole new level. One more thing just realized the Compass, Clock, and Search Items in creative have missing textures.

nice texture pack , it reminds me of ocd but with a metal-ish twist to it great job
Thank you so much, guys! Yes, many compare it to the ocd pack. But I think ocd pack is just way more simple. Especially it may be caused by the fact it's 16x16, while metrufu is 32x32. I'm planning to make a 16x16 pack strongly inspired by metrufu as well. That one may be simpler.
Metrufu is strictly black outlined and is becoming more and more futuristic [e.g. animated computer screens replacing jack-o'-lanterns]. I hope you stay tuned and enjoy the pack to the fullest!
As for the missing textures, it's because I haven't done the items yet. Once they are ready, the textures in the inventory will be changed as well. That's by the way one of the substantial differences from the ocd pack - I'm going to have all the items, weapons and everything retextured eventually (:
Thank you guys again!

Thank you very much. I'll see what i can do about the CTM. But it'll be problematic... Anyway, I'm happy you found it so good (:

Thanks! Hope you have fun with it. Minecraft does look very different with this. I don't say necesarily better, but different for sure
