MCMusic - Your music in Minecraft! [WIP] by OronDF343
Updated Apr. 17, 2014 to version 0.2.0 Alpha2
MCMusic allows you to listen to music while playing Minecraft without having to use an external program!
Currently very WIP, but it should work without any major problems.
Latest update changelog: [0.2.0 Alpha2]
* Major code overhaul!
* Ogg support! (resume is broken however)
* Improved GUI!
* Fixed crashes!
* Bugfix: G key reopening GUI
How to use [0.2.0 Alpha2]: NOT FINAL
Load your world or log in to a server.
Press the 'G' key (configurable) to open the GUI.
Type in or paste the full path to your MP3/Ogg file into the first TextBox. <-- This will be changed!
You can now use the buttons to play, pause, and stop the song. To resume, press 'Play' again.
Press the 'Esc' key to return to the game.
You can always return to the GUI by pressing the 'G' key or whatever you configured it to.
Currently implemented features are:
* MP3 & Ogg playback in background
* Volume setting [broken?]
* Play/Pause/Stop
* Keybinding for opening the GUI (default: G)
* Clientside: Use on any server!
Planned features are:
* Playlists: Playing a folder or a playlist file (M3U)
* Now Playing: See what's playing
* Folder Browser maybe?
* Hotkeys for playback controls!
* FLAC support
* GUI Overlay maybe?
* SMP features?
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: VERY IMPORTANT! To anyone who installed 0.1 Alpha: I have repackaged the mod. Please delete the file "JavaAudioPlayer.jar" and the folder "lib" from your mods folder and then proceed with installation.
Extract all the contents of the file you downloaded into your mods folder!
This mod does not need to be installed on a server!

You should definitely add support for .ogg files. Having it limited only to .mp3 files puts some rather stark limits on what people can listen to without converting file types.
