Easy Sound Importer
Yep! A fully-functioning software that will handle all the tasks necessary for importing sound files. The 2 easy steps: Import sound files, Save and Confirm. Isn't that cool?! After those two steps, you can now enjoy your sounds ingame!
Realistic Features (WIP)
Planned realistic features:
- Diving in water or lava will break the iPod
- If you are being hurt by a mob or something, iPod will be broken within 5 hits
- Listening to music too much will make you starve
- Listening to music will attract mobs
- Listening to music for a long time will overheat your iPod; you will be on fire (or even explode)
- Critical fall damages will also destroy your iPod
- Who said there are no batteries?!! No way, there will be charging and batteries!

Instructions
How to Import .WAV Sound Files (Windows Only)
1. Download the latest version of the mod and put it to your mods folder.
2. Download the latest version of iPod Mod Sound Importer.
3. If necessary, download and install the latest version of .NET framework.
4. Run iPod Mod Sound Importer.
5. Click Import...
6. Select the .wav sound files that you want to import and click OK.
7. Wait the application to do its job. (for more info, read the next how to)
8. Click Save and Confirm.
9. You're done!
How to Read iPod Mod Sound Importer's States
1. In the program, you will see the small circle that can change into 3 colours.
2. When it's red, it means the program is doing something/busy. (might be importing)
3. When it's yellow, it means it is idle but not yet saved.
4. When it's green, it means it is idle and it has been saved.
How to Import .WAV Sound Files On Other Operating Systems
1. Go to the directory where your mods are.
2. Open the iPod Mod with WinRAR.
3. Inside WinRAR, go to assets --> ipodmod --> sound
4. Put your .wav sound files there.
5. Go back to the root of the mod zip (exit assets folder)
6. Go to TeamL33T --> IpodMod and open sounds.txt
7. Put the filenames of the .wav sound files in the assets/ipodmod/sound folder like this:
For example, I put three wav files in assets/ipodmod/sound folder which are:
somethingcool.wav, superlame.wav, lolfartsuper.wav
Now, edit the sounds.txt. Separate each filename by enter in any order like this:
lolfartsuper.wav
somethingcool.wav
superlame.wav
NOTE: Do not add another enter at the last filename
8. Save the sounds.txt you just edited.
9. WinRAR will prompt you about something. Click Yes.
10. You're done!

Realistic GUI based on iOS 7??!!
WHAT THE!!! Yes, the GUI for the iPod might look like iOS 7! But it might come out not that early, Why? The reason is OpenGL is a monster! We don't want to do some extremely advanced rendering, but we'll make it touchscreen with our hypothesis: If mouse is clicked inside the frame of the GUI, then recognize mouse's location while mouse is being held. That is the hypothesis how to make the GUI touchscreen (real touchscreen for only those who have touch monitors :P)

Not-so-public means that there are no download links, the download link will only be sent for those who want to volunteer on testing the mod. Luckily, anyone can volunteer (even your dog! JK). How do you volunteer? Good question. To volunteer, do these 3 easy steps:
1. Reply to this thread/PM me (L33T_CR33P3R)
2. The content of your reply/PM must be about volunteering on testing the mod, like this: "Hi! I wanna volunteer on testing 0.0.1-a, thanks!"
3. Wait for a few Earth days/hours/minutes/seconds/milliseconds and I will PM you with the mod attached!

Yes! The very first public version of iMSI (iPod Mod Sound Importer) which is only for Windows, for now. The latest version of .NET framework is necessary to run this. It only accepts .wav files. On a 1.66GHz netbook, to import 2 high quality .wav files worth 60MB, it took me 1 minute. Yeah, this is a problem. But do not worry because I'll make this multithreaded for faster importing speeds!

very good mod but I think you should make the realistic features such as batteries or overheating configurable
edit : I found a bug : since I droped my IPod,it's no longer working,it can't play any music,I even took another one thanks to creative,but nothing work,there is no more sound
edit edit : Fixed,I had to restart the game,but that's really painful if you have to restart the game each time you drop your IPod,I hope you'll be able to fix it

well,in fact I think that's my Ipod overheated when I dropped it,because the bug happened again without dropping it,so maybee it was just part of the "realistic features"

Yes, our sound player is still in development. We got to fix this before adding seek, volume, and pitch features. Do not worry, 0.1 Alpha might be released on Sunday; you could expect that this bug is fixed.

Nice suggestion! Games might be released in late alpha releases (v0.8 above) or beta releases. Making a game is hard, especially when you're making it inside another game :D. OpenGL, JBullet, and other API's will be needed to develop a game in a game.

Hi! 0.2 Alpha is currently being developed here at the Team L33T v2! We named this "The Crafting Update", because this update will implement 2 ways (buy or make) on how to get the iPod in your hands. We want to tell you about the upcoming features in this exciting update and here they are:
iPod Nano - finally, you can now hold the iPod Nano in your very own hands! This will have few apps; to get the fun and destructive apps, you need to jailbreak your iPod which I'm going to tell you how to do it later. This will also have integrated .WAV music file playback support, of course. It will have the video app, however it won't really play videos; still WIP.
iPod Workbench - crafting an iPod will be really hard in this update! You need to craft all of the necessary iPod components to craft an iPod. There will be components like the speaker, circuit, camera, etc. (just check out the minor releases). But crafting an iPod with this thing won't bring you the fully-functional iPod; you need...
iPod Encoder - become the world's greatest iPod hacker (or not). With this new block, you can install an operating system on any iPod (except Shuffle). There will be 2 operating systems such as iOS 7 and iOS 7 Jailbreak. To install an OS, you need to know the basic commands which will be revealed as we update this mod. If you install the iOS 7 Jailbreak, you will get built-in fun and destructive apps like TNT app, Launch app, Tp app, and more.
Apple Shops - making an iPod is really hard! To make your life easier, I will add Apple Shops that will be automatically generated in your newly built world. There will be 10 Apple Shop branches in your world, they usually spawn in flat areas like the plains biome. Inside the Apple Shop, there will be a single Apple Dealer in it (don't dare kill it!). Just right-click the dealer to buy some iPod and batteries, but they don't offer operating systems and components; to buy those, you need to find an...
iPod Hacker - modern life won't be complete without hackers. They act like Apple Dealers, but they sell encoders, iPod crafting tables, operating systems, and components. They can be found in mesa biomes which are the new biomes in 1.7. If you attempt to hurt them, they will kill you!
iPod Shuffle - yes! Your very portable friend will now be available inside your Minecraft world! This will have a simple GUI and simple WAV playback controls. This hardware cannot be jailbroken, cannot have apps, cannot install an OS; just craft/buy and have fun with it!
WARNING: These features aren't final. Some may be deleted, removed, or modified without notice
Most of the apps won't be in this update. But we, TeamL33T, promise that apps will be more focused on 0.3 Alpha (The App Update)
We don't have any guaranteed release date, but we will release some minor releases like 0.1.(1-9). Most of the minor releases will be unstable, because they're just sneak peeks for The Crafting Update. I predict that this version will be released on early November.

Instructions
1. Download the latest version of the mod and put it to your mods folder.
2. Download the latest version of iPod Mod Sound Importer.
3. If necessary, download and install the latest version of .NET framework.
4. Run iPod Mod Sound Importer.
5. Click Import...
6. Select the .wav sound files that you want to import and click OK.
7. Wait the application to do its job. (for more info, read the next how to)
8. Click Save and Confirm.
9. You're done!
How to Read iPod Mod Sound Importer's States
1. In the program, you will see the small circle that can change into 3 colours.
2. When it's red, it means the program is doing something/busy. (might be importing)
3. When it's yellow, it means it is idle but not yet saved.
4. When it's green, it means it is idle and it has been saved.
How to Import .WAV Sound Files On Other Operating Systems
1. Go to the directory where your mods are.
2. Open the iPod Mod with WinRAR.
3. Inside WinRAR, go to assets --> ipodmod --> sound
4. Put your .wav sound files there.
5. Go back to the root of the mod zip (exit assets folder)
6. Go to TeamL33T --> IpodMod and open sounds.txt
7. Put the filenames of the .wav sound files in the assets/ipodmod/sound folder like this:
For example, I put three wav files in assets/ipodmod/sound folder which are:
somethingcool.wav, superlame.wav, lolfartsuper.wav
Now, edit the sounds.txt. Separate each filename by enter in any order like this:
lolfartsuper.wav
somethingcool.wav
superlame.wav
NOTE: Do not add another enter at the last filename
8. Save the sounds.txt you just edited.
9. WinRAR will prompt you about something. Click Yes.
10. You're done!

Realistic GUI based on iOS 7??!!
WHAT THE!!! Yes, the GUI for the iPod might look like iOS 7! But it might come out not that early, Why? The reason is OpenGL is a monster! We don't want to do some extremely advanced rendering, but we'll make it touchscreen with our hypothesis: If mouse is clicked inside the frame of the GUI, then recognize mouse's location while mouse is being held. That is the hypothesis how to make the GUI touchscreen (real touchscreen for only those who have touch monitors :P)

Not-so-public means that there are no download links, the download link will only be sent for those who want to volunteer on testing the mod. Luckily, anyone can volunteer (even your dog! JK). How do you volunteer? Good question. To volunteer, do these 3 easy steps:
1. Reply to this thread/PM me (L33T_CR33P3R)
2. The content of your reply/PM must be about volunteering on testing the mod, like this: "Hi! I wanna volunteer on testing 0.0.1-a, thanks!"
3. Wait for a few Earth days/hours/minutes/seconds/milliseconds and I will PM you with the mod attached!

Yes! The very first public version of iMSI (iPod Mod Sound Importer) which is only for Windows, for now. The latest version of .NET framework is necessary to run this. It only accepts .wav files. On a 1.66GHz netbook, to import 2 high quality .wav files worth 60MB, it took me 1 minute. Yeah, this is a problem. But do not worry because I'll make this multithreaded for faster importing speeds!

Nice suggestion! Games might be released in late alpha releases (v0.8 above) or beta releases. Making a game is hard, especially when you're making it inside another game :D. OpenGL, JBullet, and other API's will be needed to develop a game in a game.

Hi! 0.2 Alpha is currently being developed here at the Team L33T v2! We named this "The Crafting Update", because this update will implement 2 ways (buy or make) on how to get the iPod in your hands. We want to tell you about the upcoming features in this exciting update and here they are:
iPod Nano - finally, you can now hold the iPod Nano in your very own hands! This will have few apps; to get the fun and destructive apps, you need to jailbreak your iPod which I'm going to tell you how to do it later. This will also have integrated .WAV music file playback support, of course. It will have the video app, however it won't really play videos; still WIP.
iPod Workbench - crafting an iPod will be really hard in this update! You need to craft all of the necessary iPod components to craft an iPod. There will be components like the speaker, circuit, camera, etc. (just check out the minor releases). But crafting an iPod with this thing won't bring you the fully-functional iPod; you need...
iPod Encoder - become the world's greatest iPod hacker (or not). With this new block, you can install an operating system on any iPod (except Shuffle). There will be 2 operating systems such as iOS 7 and iOS 7 Jailbreak. To install an OS, you need to know the basic commands which will be revealed as we update this mod. If you install the iOS 7 Jailbreak, you will get built-in fun and destructive apps like TNT app, Launch app, Tp app, and more.
Apple Shops - making an iPod is really hard! To make your life easier, I will add Apple Shops that will be automatically generated in your newly built world. There will be 10 Apple Shop branches in your world, they usually spawn in flat areas like the plains biome. Inside the Apple Shop, there will be a single Apple Dealer in it (don't dare kill it!). Just right-click the dealer to buy some iPod and batteries, but they don't offer operating systems and components; to buy those, you need to find an...
iPod Hacker - modern life won't be complete without hackers. They act like Apple Dealers, but they sell encoders, iPod crafting tables, operating systems, and components. They can be found in mesa biomes which are the new biomes in 1.7. If you attempt to hurt them, they will kill you!
iPod Shuffle - yes! Your very portable friend will now be available inside your Minecraft world! This will have a simple GUI and simple WAV playback controls. This hardware cannot be jailbroken, cannot have apps, cannot install an OS; just craft/buy and have fun with it!

Most of the apps won't be in this update. But we, TeamL33T, promise that apps will be more focused on 0.3 Alpha (The App Update)
We don't have any guaranteed release date, but we will release some minor releases like 0.1.(1-9). Most of the minor releases will be unstable, because they're just sneak peeks for The Crafting Update. I predict that this version will be released on early November.
I know that everyone can't wait for this exciting update! I'm kind of excited, too! To bring more excitement into your soul, I'm going to reveal some (my) predictions of The Crafting Update (0.2).
According to my predictions...
This update might not include the iPod Nano, it might be moved to The App Update (0.3).
This update might integrate the iPod Classic's GUI.
This update might include iPod Shuffle, which was true.
0.1.4 might be like 0.1.3 but iPod Shuffle is included.
0.1.5 might be like 0.1.4 but bugs might be decreased.
0.1.6 might be the integration of iPod Classic's GUI
0.1.7 might have unfunctional iPod Encoder
0.1.9 might have the buggy iPod Encoder
0.2 might be mostly bug-free (including the iPod Encoder)
0.2.1 might be... Um, you don't want to get this all spoiled right?
