So i've been waiting for this new HDD to come in, had to wait an extra week+ for it! I finally get it and figure out that it's actually not doing what I thought it would. I got the WD Black 7200RPM which should be able to record 120fps on minecraft easily, but when I tried recording, it failed me. I'm wondering why I can't get the fps that the youtubers I know and watch get? WD Black's are made for recording and it has really good write speed! Am I doing something wrong?!?
Also, what are your rig's specs? It might be a hardware bottleneck.
Pc Specs:
GPU: GTX 660
CPU: AMD-FX 8320 8 Core Processor (3.5 GHz)
RAM: 16 GB
HDD: 1TB and 500GB
HDD for recording: WD Black 7200 RPM
Monitor: ASUS 144hz 1080p resolution
Youtube does 60 fps. It was introduced like a month ago for chrome and may be for others.
