I just built an automatic furnace machine with hoppers, and my next goal is to built an auto-sorting machine. Or maybe a zipper elevator. This took awhile though, like 1 hour to build my furnace machine. I felt pretty good about it, especial since it was on survival. So whats the most advanced/hardest machine you have built on survival?
On a server with precious stones (anti-grief), I built an enderman farm which allowed level 50 in the minimum possible time (I want to say 11 minutes?) - anyway, to make it something people had to pay to use, I encased the ENTIRE thing and made a redstone circuit that pulled the floor out from under the endermen after 15 minutes. They pay, I open the way, then start the timer.
Not particularly complicated, but that was the most useful.
As far as pure complication - I built a machine that required you to hit 4 buttons (out of 10) on the wall in the correct order to open a door. Not particularly useful, because you could just break through the wall in less time.
